cleared my cookies and solved the problem!! WOOHOO finally after many, many days (maybe a week) of trying I've installed and logged into my prestashop!

ok, I cant catch a break, about to throw in the towel with this program. Can now access the login screen but it doesnt accept my login details - no error code - just redirects me back to the login screen??

I called go daddy yesteday and the sillies told me it wasn't their problem no matter how much I tried to explain that yes- it was!! Thank goodness it's been solved , I will try the PHP change when I get home. Fingers crossed

and im back to square one ... one click download didnt work so re installed the latest version and uploaded to my server with the same invalid shop name ect..... WHY

Uhm, The problem is unsolved in that report too .... I realised Godaddy has a one click install so I've deleted the prestashop files and used this ... now I have a different problem My admin page has a 'redirect loop' so I cant log into my back office.... why cant anything be simple?

Hi there, Ive uploaded prestashop via filezilla and am going through the installation process now but am facing a bug in the install .... It is telling me I have: 'Invalid shop name' 'Your firstname contains some invalid characters' 'Your lastname contains some invalid characters' 'This e-mail address is invalid' Obviously im not entering invalid names but have tried different things in each box and on two different browsers with the same result. help?!
