  1. Hi guys, I'm working with Prestashop 1.6. and wondering if someone could refer to some instructions for removing the trailing slash. For example, instead of typing www.domain.com/product/ I want my customers to be able to type www.domain.com/product Can this be done both ways? With and without trailing slash? I'm using a pretty urls module on my site - don't know if that would affect instructions or conflict. I've been looking on the web for instructions, but I haven't found anything useful pertaining to prestashop 1.6 and I'm so scared of messing up my site. Gratefully, gracenote
  2. I've been searching for module options for implementing sage payments (U.S.). Thus far, I've only found this one by PrestaShop.com http://addons.prestashop.com/en/1239-sage-pay-go.html Just popping in the forums to see if anyone might suggest another sage module that I've overlooked. I've found others but they appear to only work for sage U.K. Thanks guys! M.
  3. @ChiaraA1 Sadly I was unable to get square integrated with my online shop. As stated by others in the above posts, Square only offers integration with Weebly and Bigcommerce. It's a bummer as I really LOVE square. I use it for my local coffee shop, it would have been nice to have my entire business on one payment system. For my web site, I ended up using Bellini's braintree module. Thus far, it's working great for my needs. Braintree, despite being owned by paypal, provides *excellent* and friendly customer support. I'm really impressed. They are quick to reply too. And Bellini (the prestashop module developer) was great and helpful (and quick!) to help me set up his braintree module on my site. He gets 5 stars from me. Module developers who are friendly and care about their customers are a gem! Anyways, that's what I ended up doing since I couldn't use square. Hope this helps.
  4. Hi gore.m! I have a temporary solution - I use google forms for my text fields. It is not the most ideal solution. Because... 1. Although I can put a character limit, google forms does not count the characters for the customer as they type. This is frustrating! 2. As it's not part of prestashop, there's no way to make it a mandatory field prior to adding product to cart. You can see what I did here: https://penguinyell.com/colony/23-textured-vintage-label-colony.html When my life is a little better economically, I plan on purchasing presto-changeo's module, Attribute Wizard Pro: http://www.presto-changeo.com/en/attribute-modules/23-attribute-wizard.html It seems like the perfect solution (not just for this, but for dealing with product combinations in different ways.) They have excellent customer support from my past experience with them. And there's a demo you can check out. Should you come across a better do-it-yourself solution, please let me know! Have a great day/night! Nice shop.
  5. I ended up creating a new thread for my specific scenario. MEG Venture provided a solution! http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/380387-hide-quantity-field-on-select-product-pages/?do=findComment&comment=1866568
  6. Is it possible to simply hide the quantity field in global.css for specific product pages? Preferable if I could hide it for all product pages that belong to a particular category. I've been trying different things to hide the quantity box on select product pages, but have not found a solution.
  7. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong as this fix did not work for me. I'm trying to accomplish the same thing for specific products. I tried this with product ID 21. I put the following code in product.tpl {if $product->id ==21} display:none css styles for quantity field. {/if}
  8. mission, did you ever come up with a solution? i'm in a similar predicament.
  9. Hi. I want to sell a product in quantities of six. So, in the quantity field, they can only plug in #s 6, 12, 18, 24, etc. What feature do I need to make use of to make this possible? Thank you!
  10. Hi guys, I want to add a custom text field for customers for a specific product. I want to limit text field to 250 characters. Just for this product. I know I can add a text field via the back office > catalog > products > selected product > customization But how do I limit the amount of characters for this specific text field on this product? Using prestashop 1.6 Thank you so much.
  11. Solved it! It was some custom code I had plugged in. Apparently, it was affecting other parts of my site!
