  1. Hi all, Experiencing issues with a live site where the admin order emails from Mail Alerts doesn't always come in. I'll get orders 1223, 1224, 1225, 1227, 1228, 1229. 1226 will be an active order but won't come in. The shipping department depends on these emails to properly pack the items and ship out. Info on site: PrestaShop version: 1.6.0.9 Current theme in use: default-bootstrap Mail method: You are using your own SMTP parameters. SMTP user: Defined SMTP password: Defined Encryption: off SMTP port: 25 Server information: Linux #6 SMP Thu Sep 15 14:00:54 EEST 2016 x86_64 Server software version: Apache PHP version: 5.6.28 Memory limit: 768M Max execution time: 120 There doesn't seem to be any issues in the error log so I'm not sure where to start. I'm using SMTP with an email that has the same domain as the server. Any and all email address fields on back office are set to the same email address that get the order emails. Anybody experience something similar? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
  2. This doesn't happen to all products but it looks like when I edit an item and then try to view it either by clicking or with quickview, it throws me a 403 error. 403 - Forbidden Error You are not allowed to access this address. If the error persists, please contact the website webmaster. If you are the webmaster of this site please log in to Cpanel and check the Error Logs. You will find the exact reason for this error there. Common reasons for this error are: Incorrect file/directory permissions: Below 644. In order files to be read by the webserver, their permissions have to be equal or above 644. You can update file permissions with a FTP client or through cPanel's File Manager. Restrictive Apache directives inside .htaccess file. There are two Apache directives which can cause this error - 'Deny from' and 'Options -Indexes'. Checked my files and they all have 644 access but I'm not sure where to check my htaccess. This was a mostly vanilla install with a few modules like "up to top". This doesn't happen with all the products I edit, just a few. Could it be something that they don't like in the short description? Edit: looks like it's specifically affecting one of my product categories. Seems okay after I deleted the category and changed the friendly URL when re-creating the category.
  3. If anyone else needs solution to this, please see http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/315138-solved-how-to-set-product-sort-in-shopping-cart-sort-by-name/
  4. Hi, client wants to sort items when they receive admin order emails by reference. Ex: customer orders ItemZ, Item X, Item D (in that order). Client wants an email that shows the order as Item D 1 $9 Item X 1 $8 Item Z 1 $10 I tried using asort in the PaymentModule class but couldn't get it to work. Can anyone help?
  5. Hi, still need a solution to this.. can anyone help? To reiterate, this is what I'm looking for in my menu: Home - Stores Stores would drop down to show links to my different stores. I would need this to show up in all my stores so I don't think setting it up as a category with HTML would work. Would I have to manually add it into the tpl?
  6. Hi, thanks for your solution! While it didn't directly solve my issue, I ended up editing the tpl that was in yourtheme/modules/blockcategories. I didn't even think about checking there for a template for blockcategories. Try the solution I described just above!
  7. Hi, all of my cache is turned off but I cleared it just in case. No good. As for the en.php, this is what I found in there that has categories: $_LANG['cms_d3c42ceb9bee8c44815b53f36e496925'] = 'List of subcategories in %s:'; $_LANG['sitemap_af1b98adf7f686b84cd0b443e022b7a0'] = 'Categories'; Neither one seems to be what I should be looking for?
  8. Hi, I'm having trouble changing the title of my categories block on 1.6. I've searched the forums and it looks like the solution is to change the tpl directly or to change the translations in backoffice. I've tried both and had no luck. I've also tried changing it so it doesn't show the {l s='categories' bit of code and just typed in Shop by Category. I've tried both clearing the cache through backoffice and by flushing the DNS cache with my host. No good. Anybody have any clue as to what's going on? This is a fairly stock install and no major changes were made to any files (mostly just CSS).
  9. Hey vekia, thanks for the quick reply. Would this work with my set up? As I mentioned, I am not using 3 different categories, I am using custom links to 3 different stores.
  10. Hi everyone, I wanted to have a special dropdown for only certain links. For business purposes, I have split up categories into stores (plants, candles, towels) so I can set order minimums for each category. My question is this: Right now, I have my menu configured as Home Candles Towels Plants About Us Contact Us I want to change my menu to Home Products About Us Contact Us where Products would become a dynamic submenu that shows Candles, Towels, Plants. How would I do this on 1.6? Thank you.
  11. Thanks PeterDesouza but I'm looking for order totals within different categories. I don't mind if they buy $300 worth of the same candle, or spread out among different candles. Edited for clarification.
  12. HI, I'm trying to have order minimums for each category on my store (Candles would require $200 order, Towels would require $300, etc). I saw a topic posted for a working method for what I assume was pre-1.4 but have not found any workarounds for 1.6. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.
