  1. Hi, how did you manage to make the pdf files to open? I followed the exact procedure in the link but now the pdf files are blank, i can open them but there are empty white pages.
  2. Hi, i have the same problem after i had to make a full backup from my local machine. At first when i tried to download a pdf attachement from the website it showed PDF FAILED TO LOAD, know after proceeding with the instructions from the link http://www.digitaldisseny.com/es/blog/207-prestashop-product-attachments-corrupted that MARCIS shared the PDF files are empty, plain white pages. Did someone confrunt this issue?
  3. Hi, Im trying to solve this problem with our online store. We are running under Prestashop 1.4.8.2 This error pops up when I access our store: "Error: 'install' directory is missing" We didn't try to upgrade the prestashop platform. What we did is add a wordpress blog to a subfolder of our main store, but that was 1-2 weeks before this error showed up. In the error_log text file this line shows up multiple times: 09-Dec-2014 13:59:19 Europe/Bucharest] PHP Warning: is_dir() [<a href='function.is-dir'>function.is-dir</a>]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home:/tmp) in /home/xxx/public_html/config/config.inc.php on line 52 Also there is fatal error in error_log.txt: [09-Dec-2014 13:49:41 Europe/Bucharest] PHP Fatal error: require_once() [<a href='function.require'>function.require</a>]: Failed opening required '/home/xxx/public_html/config/settings.inc.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/xxx/public_html/404.php on line 34 Another line that appears in the error log file: PHP Warning: require_once() [<a href='function.require-once'>function.require-once</a>]: Unable to access /home/xxx/public_html/config/settings.inc.php in /home/xxx/public_html/404.php on line 34 PHP Warning: require_once(/home/xxx/public_html/config/settings.inc.php) [<a href='function.require-once'>function.require-once</a>]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/xxx/public_html/404.php on line 34 The last two lines appear only before the fatal error which appears randomly fewer times than the first error line posted above. Some advice and information is greatly appreciated. Thanks
  4. Hello, I would like to know if there is a method of configurating an existing carrier module to charge by distance and weight. We sell materials and equipment for plumbing, only in one country which has 20 counties. The weight range of our products are between a few grams (like fittings) up to half a ton (like water tanks, boilers). Out carrier charges by weight and distance, more information about these steps bellow: - Weight: first kg = 5 Euros, every additional kg costs 1 Euro - Distance: The carrier ships in 20 counties, if the shipping destination is in a county capital city than they don't charge extra for the distance. If the shipping destination is not in a county capital city then they charge 1 Euro/km from the capital to the destination. Example: For a 2 kg package, to a destination that is 20 km from the nearest county capital, the shipping cost are: - Weight: 5 Euros + 1 Euro = 6 Euros - Distance: 20 Euros TOTAL: 26 EUROS I would like to know if there is a way I can modify a pre-installed module from prestahop 1.4.8 like UPS or other carrier module to create the above calculation formula. Can I add a drop down menu with the cities and counties in the checkout form, so our costumer can choose their shipping to the nearest capital city. In our prestashop backend we have pre-installed carriers that came by default:TNT Express, Canada Post Rates Calculator, Fedex Carriers, UPS Carriers, can i set this carrier up to charge for my particular situation. Thank you all, Looking forward for some answers
