  1. Hey thanks for offering to help Selim, but luckily someone has fixed the problem for me. I marked this problem thread as 'solved' but I should have clarified this by adding a post that everything is okay and now running pretty smoothly. Thanks in any case!
  2. Update: I've just tried this fix here but it didn't work. https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop/commit/84eaa4f9cbb773dc481f3cf84f63db1a7d253827 P.S. I was reluctant to change these files because of the warning from c-panel that I will never be able to upgrade again... EDITED: No wait, it *did* work. I can now create new CMS static pages... But I dread that I will never be able to upgrade....
  3. My shop has free information "Fact Sheets" for customers. I want to add another fact sheet to the ones I've already put online. (It's going to be about the Tequila Agave). So I do this: Preferences > CMS > Categories > Fact Sheets I click on FACT SHEETS and then click on a sub-category within Fact Sheets called "Alcoholic Drinks". So far so good! Then I click the + button to make a new static content page for Tequila Agave. That's when it all goes wrong. Message appears: "Invalid security token". It gives me 2 option buttons to click: 1) Take me out of here! 2) I understand the risks and I really want to display this page No matter which button I choose, Prestashop always takes me back to "Alcoholic Drinks". Prestashop will not let me create a new static content page. Is this a bug?
  4. No problem Mister Legal, good luck with re-doing your shop!
  5. Oh right, I didn't see the Job Offers section, thanks Bellini.
  6. Hi Mister legal, it's not a module. Just go to your dashboard. Then look at the lower right hand side. You'll see 'DEMO MODE'. Click NO and all those random stats will go away. Cheers!
  7. Thanks for replying jhd. Yes, I did everything the right way according to the instructions in 1-Click upgrade (it won't let you upgrade until the whole checklist is completed). I'm trying to upgrade from 1.6.0.8 to the latest version. 1-click upgrade showed no error messages after it upgraded, and told me the upgrade was successful. But my custome layout was altered so I restored the previous backup and now I'm back to 1.6.0.8.
  8. I have tried updating from 1.6.0.8 through Installatron. And I have tried updating from 1.6.0.8 through the 1-click upgrade module. I don't know how else to perform an upgrade. The Installatron effort merely failed. The 1-click upgrade effort produced a home page whose layout was altered fairly radically. I have spent hours on this. I am now prepared to pay any expert who can fix this. But I do not know where to turn. Can anyone recommend a good Prestashop fixer?
  9. Hi Everyone, and thanks for being here like a net underneath a high-wires act to catch us if we fall off Prestashop. I've been doing great with my store www.foodandmedicinegarden.com but stumbled against a problem. I've got Paypal Express checkout. Using "Paypal Europe" because I'm in Australia. When a USA customer tries to order, he gets this message: Order WFYWQHBIK - Payment processing error There is a problem with your payment for Food and Medicine Garden order with the reference WFYWQHBIK. Please contact us at your earliest convenience. We cannot ship your order until we receive your payment. You can review your order and download your invoice from the "Order history" section of your customer account by clicking "My account" on our shop. If you have a guest account, you can follow your order via the "Guest Tracking" section on our shop. Meanwhile in the BO I get this message as follows: PayPal response:TIMESTAMP -> 2014-08-19T19:04:42ZL_ERRORCODE0 -> 10411L_SHORTMESSAGE0 -> This Express Checkout session has expired.L_LONGMESSAGE0 -> This Express Checkout session has expired. Token value is no longer valid.L_SEVERITYCODE0 -> Error I have Googled this and and searched the Prestashop Forums and also searched the Paypal instructions but I can't figure out how to fix it. Does anyone know how? Thanks in advance!
  10. It's my understanding that Image Mapping is no longer supported in 1.6.
  11. Just click NO to 'Demo Mode' on your Dashboard. It's on the lower right hand side.
  12. Did you try this? I posted it earlier in this thread. It worked for me ... THE DEFINITIVE ANSWER. THIS WORKS! PART 1 (Thanks to Robin) Navigate to /public_html/themes/your-theme/js/modules/blockcart/ajax-cart.js locate: if (parseFloat(jsonData.shippingCostFloat) > 0 || jsonData.nbTotalProducts < 1) $('.ajax_cart_shipping_cost').text(jsonData.shippingCost); else if (typeof(freeShippingTranslation) != 'undefined') $('.ajax_cart_shipping_cost').html(freeShippingTranslation); and replace it with: $('.ajax_cart_shipping_cost').text(jsonData.shippingCost); PART 2 Navigate to public_html/themes/your-theme/modules/blockcart/blockcart.tpl Locate: <span class="price cart_block_shipping_cost ajax_cart_shipping_cost"> {if $shipping_cost_float == 0} {l s='Free shipping!' mod='blockcart'} {else} {$shipping_cost} {/if} </span> And replace it with: <span class="price cart_block_shipping_cost ajax_cart_shipping_cost"> {$shipping_cost} </span> All done!

  14. (12 hours later, after a good sleep, sun is now shining) True, but I've got to have something to blame for overlooking such an obvious fix...
