  1. Bump... I'd rather not break things with an irresponsible database query.
  2. Was an issue with my files - restoring from backup and then reupgrading fixed things.
  3. So I'm having a fun little issue, maybe someone can help pinpoint the cause/solution... I am adding new product values under pre-existing attributes. But two things have gone terribly, terribly wrong: 1) Attributes and Values is right, Combinations Generator is wrong. When I add a new value to attr "Specific Color" (Red), it appears as though it's been made in the Attributes and Values interface (success!). BUT. When I go to a product and use the Combinations Generator, it does not show those updated values... it instead shows an older set of values. In the Combinations Generator, those updated values (Red) will show up... under completely different attributes (Red shows under "Bathing Suit Sizes" instead of "Specific Colors"). BUT, looking at "Bathing Suit Sizes" in Attributes and Values, it does not show Red. 2) Creating new manufacturers works, until I go to a product page and try to actually use it. It simply doesn't appear in the list on the Associations page. Have tried clearing out my cache, both in my browser and in Presta, to no avail. It -feels- like a permissions issue in the filesystem, but the fact that it's showing the values in another attribute completely is weird. Worth noting: I recently updated from 1.6.0.6 to 1.6.0.8... maybe something went wrong in the update?
  4. Cool, I'll send the request along to my guy. Last Q before I disappear: would this be a more thorough way to clear things out?
  5. Hey. Apologize for the thread necro, but this looks exactly like what I need (had some issues with some stock orders and want to start with a fresh slate). Buuut SQL Manager doesn't allow the UPDATE statement, so... A ) is there another way to go about this same task using tools supported by SQL Manager? or B ) is there another way to get in and run this query? (database noob here) PS. if possible I'd like to avoid any task needing directory/root access, as my hosting and installation is managed for me and I'd like to avoid involving more people - but if this is the easiest way to do it that's fine.
  6. Yes I am using ASM. But the items I'm testing (and all items in my shop for that matter) have the proper warehouse and supplier set up. I realize those have little to do with shipping... but what other variables should I be setting?
  7. I ended up simply changing over the pickup option into charging flatrate, and it worked. Something about shipping options that I manually create makes them unavailable on the front-end, despite being fully available/enabled for the locations I'm testing. Oh well. Would still be nice to have this working, especially since I will be expanding my shipping options in the future, but at least it's doing what I need it to for now...
  8. I have been using the UPS module, yes Just tried turning it off, creating a new UPS Ground, enabling it for all regions (not just NorthAmer), Internally it exists fine - it's set as the default shipper and everything. But now it doesn't even appear as an option on the front-end (if I turn off the pick up in store, there are no carriers available).
  9. So here's the dilemma: I'm hooked up to UPS as my only shipper, as well as offering in-store pickup. Pickup is fine. UPS, however, is not. To make it simple I am only offering UPS Ground, to the lower 48. I'd like to offer flat rate shipping. I set a rule so everything from 0-1000000 is charged $12 even, with no handling fee. However, that's not the case. No matter what price I fix it to, when items are actually put into the cart, shipping reflects an 'arbitrary amount'. Store's based in Florida. Shipping to a customer in Florida: 9.82. Shipping to a customer in Nevada: 6.72. Weird weird weird. I'm poked around in any and every menu item, and tried to skim through any modules that might affect it. Talking with UPS tech people to try and find and issue, but it well may be Presta-side. I'm tempted to just "hack" it by setting UPS to be free shipping, and setting a handling fee at whatever level I'd like. Haven't tried it, but I expect it to work at least, if an ugly way of going about it. All modules current, on Presta 1.6.0.6.
  10. Here's what I ended up with, works like a charm. .content_scene_cat, .content_scene_cat_bg { background:none!important; background-color:none!important; min-height:0px!important; padding:0px!important; } Much appreciated, vekia!
  11. Thanks! When I upgraded to the latest version of prestashop, it fixed the export, so whatever. Y'know dioniz, I didn't even see that there. Talk about staring me in the face!
  12. Or, to ask another way, is it possible to customize the theme to modify how the Category page layout? Eg. Eliminate the "display category image" line, adjust the "background" (gray box) and "description text" color, etc. I simply have no clue where said code might exist to be able to tweak it. I will do some research on theme customization later today, maybe I can answer my own Q.
  13. So, is it just one of those things that's all-or-nothing... does the 'bad' mean I have to get rid of the 'good' on this one?
  14. I like the subcategories having their pics displayed (and because there is no image for this current category, this is what I'm aiming for on every category page): http://tinyurl.com/mcxkoyj I like the subcategories, but do not like the current category image+graybox being shown: http://tinyurl.com/kdqthz7
