  1. Hi, Very often, the webhosting services (cheap ones or free ones) randomly suspend and delete entire websites. Many webhosts dont provide any option to the site owners to recover/back up their files. This leads to a risk of entire prestashop based site being lost. PrestaShop needs fresh installation each time the webhost is changed. Two questions for option on retaining old site: 1) I am keeping a backup of my site on my own PC (by means of all prestashop folders in sync between webhost server and my PC). Is it possible to upload the existing products from the PC backup to a new webhost, after a fresh install of PrestaShop? If yes, copying which folders will be sufficient to retain the products/items for sale? 2) Is there any way to retain the settings/configurations/modules from the backup to the new webhost? Or is it to be done completely afresh? Thanks
  2. Thanks LouLou66 for your tip. - How can I decrease the font size?? @vekia, Yes - I want to reduce font size as well. Whatever would look fit and fine. Thanks
  3. Hello, On my newly configured site (http://www.monty20.com/), I want to reduce the height of the top menu bars (the ones which hae DEODORANTS, WOMEN) and the next one which has "NEW ARRIALS" and "POPULAR" ... Please let me know where can I make changes to reduce the height of these menu bars and change the font size. Plus - any inputs/review on site look and feel will help Thanks for the help
  4. Thanks for the response...I dont think Order Messages are anyways going to be useful for this. Sorry for my intermediate technical knowledge, My domain is bought on GoDaddy I am using Zoho Mail for usual email communication for that domain. The site is hosted on 000webhost. Now 000webshot has confirmed that the messages are being generated through PHP scripts, so I was looking for some guidelines on where all can I look at for limiting the no. of mails automatically being sent. I am comfortable changing the PHP code, but not ery clear on the mail configuration, etc. Any help will be really appreciated. Thanks
  5. Hi, I've installed Prestashop on my site and on the 3rd day my webhost suspended my hosting account saying that there was a case of "45 emails sent in less than a minute". Fortunately, after follow-up they reinstated my hosting account, but have mentioned that possibly PHP scripts may be triggering those mails. 1) Can I know MAXIMUM how many mails can possibly be triggered by PrestaShop (through its internal scripts) for various processes (registration, sale, order, etc.)? 2) How can I prevent/select the ones which I feel will be necessary? Thanks
