  1. I have also received the same email from PayPal - I don't understand it and don't know what to do. Could we please have some 'official' Prestashop advice?
  2. I enabled debugging and found it was one of the modules ... I uninstalled it and problem solved!! Many thanks M4!
  3. I am using PrestaShop 1.6.0.6, default theme. Customer invoices have suddenly started omitting product details (see attachment). Been using PrestaShop since January 2014 and my online store has been live since August 2014. The ordered items show in the back office but not on the invoice. If I manually create an order in the Back Office the product details are still not showing on the invoice (although the prices and shipping details ARE shown). This is a major, major problem for me … could someone please help? I know HTML and CSS. Additionally (andthis may or may not be related), every time I try to save ANYTHING from the Back Office, I end up with a white screen – If I back the browser, I find the save has been made.
  4. Hi Everyone, I've now added a screenshot to my original post which illustrates what the problem is. I've been using PrestaShop for around 6 months now so am not a complete novice but I can't work out how to solve this and I have a stock of cards ready to sell - any help would be greatly appreciated!!
  5. Matthiew, I've had a careful look at this but I can't see any way of doing it in the Back Office. I've created a special supplier for the cards but how do I allocate a carrier specifically to that supplier? I've added a screenshot to my original post which illustrates the problem.
  6. I’m using PrestaShop 1.6 (default theme) and the standard PrestaShop cart. I sell posters worldwide and am about to start selling post cards. The customer pays the shipping/postage. The shipping/postage rates are less for the postcards than the prints and I need to be able to build this into my store. My sole carrier is Royal Mail and I have created separate Royal Mail carrier profiles to offer the two separate rates. Under Products>Shipping I have set up posters and postcards to use their respective carrier profiles. I’m also offering the additional option to poster buyers to pay for either tracked or untracked shipping/postage but I don’t think that’s the reason for my problem. In Maintenance Mode tests, all works fine if the customer buys only posters or buys only postcards. However, if the customer buys a combination of both posters AND post cards (with two different shipping/postage rates), the final shipping checkout screen (where you are asked to accept the terms of service) breaks apart and displays multiple instances of the Royal Mail logo and carrier information text (Firebug reveals they are in additional HTML TD cells generated by the cart). It looks a mess and cannot be used although the shipping/postage costs displayed are correct. I'm attaching a screenshot. I know HTML and css and could play with .tpl files if neccessary. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!!
  7. My online PrestaShop 1.6 (default theme) went live a couple of days ago. So far I've only had two customers both paying via PayPal (and one requested a refund). I have started receiving the following email from PayPal (several times): "Please check your server that handles PayPal Instant Payment Notifications (IPN). Instant Payment Notifications sent to the following URL(s) are failing: https://www.MYSITE/public_html/modules/paypal/ipn.php If you do not recognize this URL, you may be using a service provider that is using IPN on your behalf. Please contact your service provider with the above information. If this problem continues, IPNs may be disabled for your account." This appears to relate to the refund which was made through the PrestaShop back office. I have no idea how to resolve this or even whether it is an important issue. Please help!
  8. Thank you so much El Patron ... I uploaded the amended files you pm'ed me about and my problem was solved!!!
  9. Yes, I've done that and tried the store out on two separate PCs ... the problem is still there.
  10. The shop isn't live yet ... I don't want to make it live, even for a short time as it may get found...
  11. F5 doesn't help and the issue is the same in Firefox, IE Chrome and Safari. I'm familiar with HTML and CSS but I don't know .js or PHP. I followed this link and and launched the debugger on one of my product pages but I just don't know what I'm looking for or how to fix it. Would some kind of partial re-install be an answer ... and if so, how and what files should I be looking for?
  12. I've been setting up a new store using PrestaShop 1.6 (default theme) for a few months now - the default currency is UK Pounds and I also want to sell in US Dollars and Euros. My current version is 1.6.0.6. I actually tried to re-roll to the previous 1.6 version but it wouldn't work and the whole shop went down (I sorted that by uploading a backup via Dreamweaver). Until now I had no problems with currency conversions then suddenly, a couple of days ago, I noticed the price shown in the "Add to cart box" on each product page (for each combination and for every product) is the same as the UK price (although the currency symbol changes when a different currency is selected in the front office). The figure in the attached image is actually the UK price rather the the US Dollar price. The same happens with Euros. When I refresh the product page in my browser, for a split second the correct price is shown but almost instantly overwritten. It does not make any difference whether I am logged in or just a visitor. Everywhere else in the shop where products are shown, the prices are correctly converted!! The prices in the Ajax Cart are also correctly converted ... it's just that one (very important) place (again, see image below). I've tried clearing the cache, uninstalling and reinstalling US Dollar/Euro currencies, and deleting and reentering products but nothing has worked - I don't know what else to do. Please help! This is a very serious problem for me as I need to launch my new business within the next couple of weeks!
  13. I have exactly the same problem ... can someone help with this. The cart is showing a shipping value before the customer signs in/creates an account and tells Pretsahop 1.6 where they live and what carrier they want!!
