  1. Hi, I am experiencing an issue with the back office orders. All the math is exact (tax incl., tax excl., etc.) so I can add products, add discounts (I created an ad hoc field), change quantity, etc. and everything is working. But, as soon as I click the finalize button, I got strange results. For example, if I add a 8,90€ item, I have a tax excluded price at 7,293082. If I click finalize the tax excl. field just a moment before leaving the page and going to the finalized order page turns to be 7.3 and 8,90 turns consequently to 8,91 and all the invoices are not correct. I had a look at all files possible, Order.php, Cart.php, SpecificPrice.php and admin controllers as well. But nothing... Obviously I have only price rounded at 6 for tax excluded or 2 for tax included and classical round. Does anybody know what is going on? I'm on PS 1.6.0.6 Thanks Fabio
  2. Hi we need an ad hoc work on a already customized Prestashop 1.6.0.6 installation. It is about back office orders and consequent json summary (got from AdminCarts) and receipts. The starting point: a customer of ours requests a very particular receipt, which we could do for the e-commerce from end side. Now, the math behind the back office seems to be not the same. First of all, the tax included prices in the back office aren’t always the same as in the front office, when adding a new product. This happens when there are discounts too. In addition, although PS calculates tax included prices starting from tax excluded ones, our customers wants that the math starts from tax included prices. e.g. we have an item with price 8.90€ and it is discounted by 5%. It should be 8.455€ but you will find 8.46€ in the shop, because it is rounded to 2 decimals. Now, if you consider that 8.90 is tax included we have in the DB a tax excluded of 7,295082. One should expect that (VAT is 22%) the discounted tax excluded price is 7,295082 * 0,95 = 6,9303279. Our customers want that this price is 8,46 (tax included discounted) / 1,22 = 6,9344262. Now, if one takes 5 units of this item, discounted by 5%, in the receipt (already customized and working, but only for the e-commerce) the user will see: original tax incl price: 8.90 (same as in e-commerce) discount: 5% final price tax incl: 8.46 (same as in e-commerce) vat: 22% final tax excl price: 6.93 (rounded but actually is 6,9344262) qty: 5 total tax excl: 34.67 (that comes from the rounded 6,9344262 * 5) total tax incl. 42.30 So, basically we need to modify the back office in order to have this situation with prices. In the back office, for each product one can change both the discount and the tax included price (but this is already implemented). We offer all the needed support in order to understand properly some modification we already applied. Regards Fabio Ricci
  3. Hi all, we'd need two modifications to the backend order creation process in PS 1.6.0.6 1) quantity could be indicated in decimals as well (in addition to integers as it is by default) Where, and only where, the quantity is indicated in decimals, its quantity in stock, after a sale, should not decrease. 2) when one adds a product to the list more than once, by default, its quantity increases in its row. We need that each time a salesman adds a product, a new row its created. Each row, even if it lists the very same product which is already in another row, should be independent (that is: we should be able to increade/decrease the quantity or modify the price and this would not affect products with the same ID if present in the list, in other rows) These modifications pertain only the backend orders creation process. Frontend is not involved in that. We require that the developer: - can communicate in a very good English - shares and comments the code - works on a fresh copy of ps 1.6.0.6 on its own server - does not mess with the fron-end We can pay 20% in advance, 30% after the first task has been finished, and 50% when the second task is finished. If you did not understand what we'd need, please PM me, before to make an offer. Thanks Fabio Ricci
  4. Hi all, just wanted to thank Oexo France. He was aked to do a not trivial job within days and across the weekend. He did it the right way. A good surprise was certainly his ability to communicate with me during the weekend too. And, for small parts he could not do (actually I doubt that someone could do) he spoke honestly to me. I did appreciate this very much. I recommend him for your jobs! Fabio Ricci
  5. Hi all our team has deeply customized a copy of Prestashop 1.6 over the last year. Our customer needs more modifications before next Wednesday. We have a significant budget and a detailed todo list. We can give support during all the process, being aware the requests are to be made on an already customized installation. Please, reply if interested and if you can dedicate the weekend to us We can provide a depot if you prove to be able to do it. Please, reply only if you have a good to huge experience with PS 1.6. Thanks Fabio Ricci
  6. Hi, i am going to use BO orders creation a lot. But why the products have only their prices tax excluded? Is there a way to have the tax included prices as well? I know I could have it by applying some JS (after all I have tax percentage for every product) but I was guessing if there is a way to have them automatically. After all, in the cart summary I have the price tax included... It is a pity that it is not implemented by default, but, if someone can help us, well, he's the welcome! I could post here the solution once found! Fabio
  7. Hi, could anybody point me to the right direction? Basically I'd like the same product list (complete with filter functions) one finds in the BO products page, in the BO new order creation. By now, in fact, I can only add products to BO new orders by writing the initial name of the wanted product. I don't ask for the solution, as i can handle php and tpl quite good, but I am missing which files are interested in such a modification. Thanks a lot! Fabio Ricci
  8. Hi, I have a problem with the Loyalty module on PS 1.6.0.6 and it is pretty strange. So, from within the customer account, I can click on loyalty section, then this error appears: Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'SmartyCompilerException' in /home/compto5/public_html/e/tools/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatecompilerbase.php:667 Stack trace: #0 /home/compto5/public_html/e/tools/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templateparser.php(3144): Smarty_Internal_TemplateCompilerBase->trigger_template_error() #1 /home/compto5/public_html/e/tools/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templateparser.php(3209): Smarty_Internal_Templateparser->yy_syntax_error(10, '\xC3') #2 /home/compto5/public_html/e/tools/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_smartytemplatecompiler.php(105): Smarty_Internal_Templateparser->doParse(10, '\xC3') #3 /home/compto5/public_html/e/tools/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatecompilerbase.php(206): Smarty_Internal_SmartyTemplateCompiler->doCompile('{*\n* 2007-2014 ...') #4 /home/compto5/public_html/e/tools/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_template.php(187): Smarty_Internal_TemplateCompilerBase->compileTemplate(Object(Smarty_Internal_Template)) #5 /home/compto5/public_html/e/tools/sma in /home/compto5/public_html/e/tools/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatecompilerbase.php on line 667 What I did: 1) the last line does not show where the problem arises 2) I restored the smarty console: everywhere works fine, but not on this page 3) I set the PS profiling dev on, still nothing The page basically shows what I paste. As far as I understood there is a problem with charset about the copyright of some file, but this does not happen anywhere. I really can't figure where the problem is... Thanks! Fabio
  9. Hi, only when trying to reach the loyalty module in a customer account, I get this fatal error, from which I understand that Smarty can not compile a code like {* * 2007-2014 Now, a recurring search with Dreamweaver shows to me that there are thousands of these occurrences. Does anybody know how to narrow down the search for the wrong file? Thank you very much! 10. Dear, I customized the admin product list pretty heavily. However, as the query for all the products runs a bit slower, is there a way to start by default with that list empty, preserving the reset filter function to show all the products? More, how can I sort the list, by default with DESC id, instead of ASC id? I really went deep with controllers, especially with AdminProductsController, but no luck. Using 1.6.0.6 Thank you very much! Fabio
  11. First of all, thank you for your kindness! In AdminOrdersController.php (and this should cover both the cases where I set the order for the first time and updating its status, right?) I find indeed these lines // Update product available quantity StockAvailable::updateQuantity($order_detail->product_id, $order_detail->product_attribute_id, ($old_quantity - $order_detail->product_quantity), $order->id_shop); So, I could have it like // Update product available quantity StockAvailable::updateQuantity($order_detail->product_id, $order_detail->product_attribute_id, ($old_quantity), $order->id_shop); and quantity should not then decrease. Now, I noticed that this is in the function public function ajaxProcessEditProductOnOrder() where I don't think I can have the current order status id by querying order details. Should I query the DB directly? After all, in this function I know the order id and could ask the ps_order_history to give me the last state for that order and perform some if-else statement in the lines above. What do you think? Is the right approach? Most of all, I was asking myself... Prestashop must have somewhere coded that upon some state changes the quantity does not decrease. For example, if I change from "preparing" to "sent" (just guessing the english names...) the quantity does not decrease. Do you know where this is actually decided? In the table ps_orders_state I do not see any column stating this (logable, shipped, paid, etc.) Thank you very much! Fabio
  12. Hi as per title of the post, could someone address me to files or functions where I can set exceptions, that is: on certain status changes or creation of orders from BO with certain statuses, the quantity of the products of the order is not decreased. I guess it is a matter of some if-else in some PHP controller. As I am pretty skilled, I think to manage to have it, but I have no idea, by now, in which file to put my hands Thanks a lot! Fabio
  13. Hi all I am using PS 1.6.0.6 and I have a question, whose answer I can not find anywhere Let's say I have an item, which costs 10$ I have a discount for 1 to 5 units by 10% From 6 units the item is discounted by 20% When in product page, if I click the plus and the minus button, to change the quantity, no matter which quantity only the first price is calculated. For example: 6 items should be sold with a discount by 20% each. But I get 9x6=54, because volume discount is not calculated (it should be 8x6=48). While in the cart summary everything is correct. Could you point me to the right direction? I suppose it has to do with product.js... but I can't figure out... Thanks a lot! Fabio
  14. I just love PS 1.6, which made the whole thing more modern and fluid. Thumbs up! However, I am trying to have the products information tab (which is displayed by default while editing/adding a product) with the features tab. Bascially, the first tab should include the second tab content. I need it, because some features are so important for the admin, that they should be present in the information tab. What I did so far, is to grab the content from features.tpl and paste it inside the information.tpl file. It worked, but it seems that I lost all the existing features, only an alert div is disaplyed inviting to add new features. Anyone could address me in the right direction? Thank you very much! Fabio
  15. However, no more Prestashop. Never seen a so helpless community Never seen a so complex written CMS Never seen an open source product where 99% of modules are to be paid
