Hi there, I seem to be having 2 problems with the menu: 1. After I edit some categories they and up in the menu-root and I have to manually put them in the right home-category by using phpMyAdmin, 2. Some new categories don't have this problem but they have the wrong level_depth. I can change the level depth manually through phpMyAdmin but when I edit the category they get the wrong level depth again. Thanks for taking your time to reply

Er zijn gewoon bestaande modules die dit al doen? Gratis en betaalde modules zelfs..

Hi, i made a complete FTP backup and phpMyAdmin backup of my site, then i went to modules -> Block Category -> Reset. This worked for me!

If I uninstall and reinstall, will I lose anything (like assigned categories?) or is it safe to do so? EDIT: I used 'Reset', everything works now

Ok so I added this in blocktopmenu.php, on line 716: if ($category->level_depth < 3) { It now only shows the first level of dropdowns! Thanks again vekia for helping me out!

Hi vekia, I would like to thank you for your help so far. I've seen you helping out a lot of people on these forums, thanks you very much. Is the blocktopmenu.php the only place I can make some changes to the menu? (By the way is that the one in the themes\modules folder or the one in the bigger \modules folder?)

I compared the two blockropmenu.php files (from webshop.com/modules/blocktopmenu) and they seem to be the same :/

Hi Vekia, Thank you for your response. If the current state is how the module works then I guess some things have been changed in the core. Would you know where I could look for those changes? I can compare 1.5.6.2 (on a backup) with the 1.5.4.1 version Thanks
