1. Great! Solved this myself! Thanks for the Help ME! Thought I'd post the solution here. I just took the twitter tracking code and added it to both the orderconfirmation.tpl file (under the current theme) in the header

section and I also added the tracking code/tag in the orderconfirmation.php file. I tested the confirmation url immediately and then waited overnight to see if things would register. It does. It appears in Twitter (maybe in other social media sites as well) it takes awhile for the tracking tag to actually register the page visit. Once you have inserted the tag on the pages, (not sure if you need to do both the tpl and php page, but I did both to cover my basis) and have visited the page, give it overnight and then check back to see if the pixel is registering properly. Thanks for the Help ME, I hope this helps out anyone else who has this issue. I surmise this may also help others with Facebook pixels and other social media tracking code. -ivan
2. Hello, I installed a module for Facebook & Google Analytics. Is there a way to input my Twitter tracking code in my webpage? Does Anyone know which page will register? is it orderdonfirmation.php or is it the (.tpl) page? Can I do this from Greasemonkey or would I need to implement it via the page in an editor like Notepad++? I am not going to purchase another module to implement one piece of code, so I'm looking for someone who can point me to which webpage to input the code and let me know the easiest way to do it. Thanks! -Ivan **I'm tracking purchases**
3. musicmaster from another part of the forum solved this for me. I needed to clear the prestashop cache inside the back office. once I did that everything updated!!!!!! Log in and go to "Advanced Parameters" tab --> Performance --> "Clear smarty cache and Autoload Cache" button. Glad to get this solved. I've been miffed for a few weeks on this.
4. musicmaster, I can't tell you how much I appreciate your help. I had no idea about the cache clearing option inside prestashop. I've seen it before, but it never crossed my mind in this situation. I've been dealing with this issue for weeks. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I pressed the button and checked on my android in two browsers and checked on my laptop in different browsers, ALL IS WORKING AND SHOWING FINE!!! THANK YOU AGAIN!
5. flyclothing, does it take a day or two for your front page images to update? That's initially what happened to me, except now the front homepage module just never updates. The other modules update, so it must be something with this module or how I'm using it. Let me know if you find anything as well. Actually I'm waiting for help from Vekia the developer in this area here as well. He initially responded, but I haven't heard anything since.... I went to my mobile phone and the default Android browser & the Firefox browser both aren't showing updates. I may just try deleting the module and reuploading it. That's the last thing I can think of until I wait for help with the code. later.
6. Vekia, Do you have any idea how to fix this issue? I'm still getting problems in Safari and Internet Explorer. They show no image and wrong prices. Here is the url of my shop http://merch.mixrevu.com - It shows correctly in Firefox and Chrome, but not in Safari & IE.
7. Thanks for your response Vekia, In Firefox this is the url of one image: -http-://merch.mixrevu.com/48-home_default/soft-knee-tee.jpg I click on the "?" where the same image is supposed to be in Internet Explorer and this is the image url: -http-://merch.mixrevu.com/34-home_default/soft-knee-tee.jpg I see they are different urls for the same image. (I added the dashes"-" so you can see the full url) Thanks for your help again Vekia.
8. Hi, I am having problems with my Featured "Products on the Homepage module" version 1.4. It appears that where I do my edits (upload images, & change prices) in Firefox once I make an edit, things are visible to me, but if I go to a different browser like IE or Safari or on my Android I can't see my products or my price changes. I can see only "?" marks for my images. It is happening specifically with this module on the homepage and I made edits weeks ago and the changes have still not updated in Safari or Internet Explorer. I can see my products in Firefox and Chrome. I am using prestashop 1.5.6.2 and I just updated the "Featured Products on the homepage" module. I have attached screenshots from Chrome (where my products and prices show correctly) and a screenshot from Internet Explorer (where the updates are not showing and the prices haven't changed) Here's my shop address if you need to view it for yourself merch.mixrevu (dot) com Is this an edit in the module code I need to make or is this something wrong with my shops backend etc? Thank you for any help.
9. Hi, Has anyone had this problem? I upload images to my products in my favorite browser (firefox) and when I view my shop's front end everything looks fine. Then I open Safari or IE and the products don't show. I've cleared my cache in all of my browsers and restarted my computer, but I don't know why images show in Firefox but don't in other browsers? Matter of fact, sometimes in Firefox,it takes a day or so for the photos to update on the home page. It's only the homepage that does this as well. I'm wondering if this is a module issue? or a theme issue (I do have a custom theme I got from Themeforest.net)? I've attached two screenshots so you can see what I am talking about. In the attached photos you can see the correct homepage view from Chrome Browser and the missing images in Internet Explorer browser. The actual product pages look fine, but it's the homepage that doesn't want to update properly with the new additions. Whenever I update things in the back end the homepage takes a day or so to update in any browser, but Safari and Internet Explorer haven't updated at all in 3 weeks with the new images. Is this a corrupted theme issue? Maybe a module issue? or is it an issue I can fix from the backend? Thanks, website is (merch.mixrevu{dot}com) if you want to view it yourself. Ivan
10. I ended up making the purchase....alas I guess there is no one willing to help with a free solution, the module is working and the support is great. Thanks. I hope anyone who has this problem in the future and doesn't have the developer knowledge reads this thread.
11. This may be a dumb question, but I figured I would go ahead and ask. I just inserted some conversion tracking pixels (facebook & google) on my order-confirmation.tpl and I want to know how to get to that page so I can check to see if they are working properly. My checkout is through paypal so after I go to checkout and select payment it takes me to complete the paypal order. I don't want to complete the order of course because it is just fake. Is there a way to go all the way through the order process without actually ordering? Just wondering, Thanks to anyone who can help. I know this must be simple since I don't see that anyone has asked it. lol I don't know how to completely go through to the order confirmation without actually ordering. I'm using 1.5.6.2
12. Hi all, just wondering if we can get a definitive answer to this. I am also looking to implement Facebook & Google conversions on my confirmation page, but am a little confused between this topic and the http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/250595-solved-affiliate-tracking-code/?hl=tracking topic. The one that is [solved} is for affiliate tracking and I'm wondering if I need to do all of those steps just for Google and Facebook Conversion tracking. Where do I need to insert the scripts? in the order-confirmation.tpl or the confirmation.php file? I am trying to edit the script in my google script so that the values are dynamic. Here's my google script (I inserted the literal tags here as well):

Google says I need to edit the (var google_conversion_value = 1.00), here's what they say: If your site has a variable conversion value, determine the PHP expression that displays that value. For example: <?php echo $totalValue ?>, <? echo totalValue ?> I'm trying to do total cart value with tax. what should I edit here? Google also says: You'll also need to add replace the default numeric value with "<%= totalValue%>" in the section Would this be it? or would I need to use something other than "<%=totalvalue%>"? Thanks for any help, I know there are pay modules, but I know once I get this set myself I won't be changing it, so I hope someone knows how to do this.
13. Vekia, Thanks I found it! Thanks for the quick response again, much appreciated!!!!
14. Hi, I'm looking to change my shop's title and I'm not sure where to go to do that? Is that in the backend or do I need to edit that in a php file(if so, which file and where)? If there is anyone who can point me in the right direction it would be awesome!!! When I say title I mean my shop's meta title. Thanks for any help! -Ivan
