Well I tried before and was unable to access BO after moving the shop. If cookies were in play, changing DB would not have helped. I would need to test again to verify.

After you move presta, BO cannot be accessed. So you better change URI first and then move things around. Alternatively you can move files and change URI directly in database.

Well I ran through the duplicating orders and compared almost every bit of information in these orders to existing single orders. I was unable to find any difference that could hint to where the problem exists.

Found it. Downloaded 1.2.3 from Github and replaced files directly. Works like a charm but somehow Prestashop thinks 1.10>1.2.3 so it offers to upgrade to newest version

All of a sudden today I have the same issue. Found this post. So just my two cents ASM is not in use. iDeal (Dutch Payment) is installed quite a while ago Random double carts. Some create a duplicate ID, some don´t One order actually thinks that twice the amount of the order has to be payed Upgrade to 1.6 will not work as my theme is currently not working under 1.6, which is odd also cause a duplicate of default theme.

I will have a look in my 1.6.0 development server. I got it to work for 1.5.6.0, just the way you want it. As far as I can tell. Login should redirect you to the place you were before. Would love to hear from Presta Devs why they choose otherwise

Prestashop takes you to the my-account page after login by design. Look at my solution in post #24. My guess is something similar for 1.6.0 exists. Just look for "my-account" in the code.

Thanks for great help. Just to be clear though as sorting is not working in my 1.5.6.0 shop. Does the position id need to be unique across the whole shop or just within a category. My shop currently looks like Category A : Position 1,2,3,..... Category B : Position 1,2,3,4,..... Any ideas?

You only need to provide temporary access while changing the setting.

Thanks DH42. I'll take a look into it, but from what it looks like I need a box with over 2GB of dedicated memory, at least according to your advice. No crashes so far, but then again no load as well
