  1. I recently bought a module Import/Update Bulk Product from any CSV/Excel file, they said it is compatible with mulit-language in their description, but we couldn't get it work. Emailed the developer but their support is awful and not really helpful, not to mention they cannot solve the problem. Since their module doesn't work for us and they cannot solve it, I asked for a refund, but they blackmailed me to give them 5 stars rating, otherwise they will not refund to us. It's just so unfair to those hard working developers who provide excellent support and quality module. Contacted Prestashop a week ago, and of course no reply from them. It's very frustrating to purchase modules on Prestashop addon website. Is there any way to contact Prestashop and that they will actually reply? Thanks!
  2. They are crazy!!! Their support is either SLOW or NONE...
  3. I have the same problem. I will not buy any modules made by Prestashop again, since they cannot offer support when problems occur. Their support and module quality really disappoint me. I am currently asking for refund but who knows I would ever get a response.
  4. Hi, I also have the same problem. I bought an Abandoned Cart Reminder Pro module on 11 July, (order # 333559 - € 75,99) I sent an email to support on 12 July, they replied to me but their answers are not really helping, until now the problems still haven't been solved. I sent a couple emails to billing department asking for refund, but I also haven't got an answer. I hope someone here can help me. Thank you.
  5. I just did the 1-click upgrade from 1.55 to 1.6013 When I click on Modules I get an error message "Module isotopeSort is not a valid module name" (see screenshot below). What can I do to remove this error so I can go to the modules? Can I just delete these files via ftp? Solved via https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/419964-modules-not-shown-after-upgrade-to-16013/ It was because of the Uppercase letters in the module name.
  6. Is it possible to first upgrade from 1.5 to 1.6. (via build in upgrader) and then download a new Prestashop and upload only the files in to the directory? The reason would be to migrate the data into new database structure, but have a complete set of new files with no legacy changes. Thx
  7. When we go to Back office -> modules -> payment and try to set "Currency restrictions" for Paypal to Customer currency (instead of Shop default currency) the Paypal logo doesn't show anymore during checkout. How can we show the Paypal logo during checkout when 'Customer currency' is selected? PS 1.5.5
  8. Thanks Vekia, with this code there is no error message and I can place it at displayTop.
  9. We are using PS 1.5.5. and we want the same thing, display the Home Text Editor (editorial) above the slider but when I try to transplant this module to displayTop I get an error "This module cannot be transplanted to this hook." Is this not possible anymore in 1.5.5?
  10. Setting permissions to 755 is indeed the first step to trying to solve this. Unfortunately for me this doesn't work (our paypal module and all subdirectories have 755 and all files have 644). With us it seems it cannot return to the correct page (to verify purchase) in PS after clicking on Buy in Paypal.
  11. Thx, yes, a lot is possible via the Specific prices but for our purposes it does not seem to offer a solution. Setting a price per currency is possible here (I didn't realize the currency would change) but see my other forum post for our dilemma http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/292667-how-set-same-final-retail-price-for-all-customers/?do=findComment&comment=1475749
  12. If this is possible maybe you could tell me where I can do this since I have not been able to find it. When I go to the prices tab for a product there only seems to be field for the default currency (EUR in our case). Where to set the USD and GBP prices?
  13. Is there a way to set the final retail product price to be the same for all customers in all countries regardless of vat/taxes? For example. We set a sales price of EUR 14.99 (incl. vat 21%) for a product and when we sell this product to a customer in another EU country (we are based in NL) the price will be sold for EUR 14.99. But when we sell the same product to a customer in US or Hong Kong the sales price will change to EUR 12.39. It seems the vat is taken off and then we have an extra loss since we offer free worldwide delivery and the vat should cover most of the extra shipping expenses. How can we change it so the sales price will always be 14.99? Is there a module or is there some setting we can change? At this time the only way to do this would be to set a fixed price per country via 'Specific Prices' in the prices tab at the product. But this is limited to be only per currencies, per country or per group. What would help is to be able to do this also per country zone or region (otherwise we would have to add more than 2500 rows!). When we try to select 'all countries' the 21% vat is added to EU customers but for EU customers the vat deducted form the sales price. If we could change the base type for the Product price to be 'tax incl' (instead of forced excl. as it is now) it would solve the problem also. Can anyone give suggestions how to solve this problem?
  14. This seems like an elegant solution and we will look in to this module. However, just to be clear for anyone looking, this means it is not possible with Prestashop 1.5.5 to set your own prices per currency. You always will have to depend on the exchange rate.
