I worked it out! I went to Performance (BO) and unchecked the Minify HTML after "smarty compile" execution. box, as that was the problem.

Hello everybody! I have recently updgraded to the newest version of Prestashop because on the previous version I noticed that each page's source code had moved from vertical to horizontal. I am not sure why this happened because I didn't update anything, but the consequence of this was my home page disappearing from Google. I tried many times to correct this but nothing worked, so I decided to install the new version of Prestashop and the source code went back to being vertical. I am using the vp best store theme and have installed a few modules (html box, specials). I have just checked the source code and noticed that it's gone from vertical to horizontal again. I uninstalled the modules to see if they were the cause of this problem, but the code is still horizontal.
