  1. Hi Thanks for your reply. It says it is only compatible for V1.4 yet I had it working great on 1.5 so I thought it would on 1.6 also? Is there much difference in the way 1.5 and 1.6 hangs together? Thanks Natalie
  2. I have looked at the theme (see below) it is only compatible for 1.4.9.0. As the theme has been modified a lot, is there a way to fix the issues I have as it was working on 1.5.1.0? 3. Hi I have read a lot of the forum posts and unfortunately have not been able to find any answers (other than the photos query with question marks. I regenerated the thumbnails but that just came up with a load of errors). I was on version 1.5.1.0 using the theme Parure (http://addons.prestashop.com/en/beauty-jewelry/6018-parure.html) which had been modified quite a bit. A couple of the guys on here have helped me with it in the past - thank you guys! I used the 1-click upgrade to upgrade the shop to 1.6.0.9. Now the format and shop is all over the place! The four photo slider has spread into a background, the menu is massive, fonts have changed, images have vanished, the search field is huge, the social media images have gone etc etc etc. See screen shot attached. Do you have to do something to the theme as well when you upgrade? The reason for my upgrade was due to the paypal module not working - you could not pay for anything which is the whole point of a shop! Also thought it would be a good idea to upgrade. Can anyone help me please? I have left the shop in maintenance mode for now. If you want to view it, let me know your public IP address and I will add it. Thanks in advance. A very stressed Natalie.
  4. I have done that and it has made the product disappear! When you click on a product you get a blank page (see image) therefore had to change it back!
  5. Hi Cache was already off, so turned compile on. Opened product page, refreshed it and the box was still there. Turned compile off and cache on, refreshed product page and the box is still there? I have two warnings on the performance page. Does this have anything to do with it? here are 2 warnings. Hide warning To use APC, you must install the APC PECL extension on your server. http://php.net/manual/en/apc.installation.php To use Xcache, you must install the Xcache extension on your server. http://xcache.lighttpd.net
  6. Is this under advanced parameters? Under the configuration checklist on the back office home page I have an alert for Combine, Compress and Cache? Cheers
  7. Hi I changed the code in both files and it has not made any difference? http://www.annacalvert.co.uk/index.php?id_product=42&controller=product Cheers
  8. Hi The first in the tpl file from the theme and the second the default one. Thanks product_txt.txt product_txt_default.txt
  9. Next to an item there are two boxes. The first has the reference in which is fine and there is another box to the right side of it which is blank. Upon playing around with things I have found when an item is out of stock, this is written in this box. Everything is virtual stock so there will never be anything out of stock. How can I get rid of this box as it looks silly just a blank empty box sat there!
  10. I have changed friendly url from yes to no and it has fixed the problem. Why is this? DO you need friendly url to be yes?
  11. Could it be due to the fact my test site (the subdomain) is still live on the server (although it redirects to the main domain)? I didnt want to delete this until I knew it was working but obviously it doesn't work on that either!
  12. I have had a look in the settings.inc.php file you referred to in step 3 and I do not have the PS_BASE_URI - only the below. I changed this informaiton in the advanced parameters as I was prompted to in the back office. I completed the other two steps exactly. <?php define('_DB_SERVER_', 'database.lcn.com'); define('_DB_NAME_', 'annacalvert_co_uk_db_rs'); define('_DB_USER_', '********'); define('_DB_PASSWD_', '888888888'); define('_DB_PREFIX_', 'ps_'); define('_MYSQL_ENGINE_', 'InnoDB'); define('_PS_CACHING_SYSTEM_', 'CacheMemcache'); define('_PS_CACHE_ENABLED_', '0'); define('_MEDIA_SERVER_1_', ''); define('_MEDIA_SERVER_2_', ''); define('_MEDIA_SERVER_3_', ''); define('_COOKIE_KEY_', 'YDwoDXF43F3ILXadGHDbcrBAHF44PapAs7tkVO2GjREnwY8XMSLJRQJ8'); define('_COOKIE_IV_', '4LAtxvXN'); define('_PS_CREATION_DATE_', '2012-10-10'); define('_PS_VERSION_', '1.5.1.0'); define('_RIJNDAEL_KEY_', 'jYNhLsdDZk9kLC32Rb92NKxYYukJN72A'); define('_RIJNDAEL_IV_', 't7qljcVqfMqrNRWNGphsJw==');
