Hi There, I have just installed prestashop and I can't login to the back office. I get the message: The Employee does not exist, or the password provided is incorrect. If I try to use the 'forgot password I get the message: This account does not exist Any help greatly appreciated...

Hi There, I have tried a fresh install of Prestashop on a fasthosts server and get an extra trailing slash after the domain name (www.*******elly.co.uk//index.php?) I spoke to Fasthosts and they said it is a Prestashop issue. I have tried installing on another domain using the fasthosts 'simplescripts' system and I'm getting the same issue? Any help really welcome as I'm tearing my hair out on this problem...

Has anybody got had a straight answer regarding this? Our site has been working great for over a year and now it has just stopped. Anyone who tries to pay just gets: "Error, please verify the card information" The guy at Paypal said that we need to contact our shopping cart provider? We tried updating the PayPal Pro module but it will not update (no idea if that will fix it anyway). Desperate for help...Thanks...

Hi There, I have a new install of Prestashop and I have purchased Starshop Fashion theme. I have used the preferences/theme/import from your computer, as well as the module 'install theme' but the theme does not appear in the preferences/theme page? It uploads and does not show any errors? Any ideas most welcome... Prestashop version 1.6.0.8

There is no 'clear cache' button as there is on the screen shot you shared? Is this because it is a different version of Prestashop?

We have a prestashop store with a purchased theme. The homepage has a 'Our Best Sellers' module in a very prominent position. The problem is, that the best sellers do not actually update? They have been the same products since last year and do not reflect what customers are actually buying? Any ideas very welcome...

A very good local developer solved this for me. The issue was a duplicate Paypal module (Paypal & Paypal Pro). He disabled the Paypal module and the site works amazingly quick. No idea why but at least it works! -

As a further point. We don't actually know how suddenly it happened as we don't check the front of the site every day. We use the back office every day but this has not been effected?

No big change in product inventory, site is on a dedicated server that has been checked and re-checked by the engineers, no new modules...we are at a loss as to why it has happened? Somebody said it could be due to DNS (we had that corrected), somebody said it could be due to server caching (we had that corrected), somebody said it might be due to file permissions? (have not actioned that yet as they want to charge us to have a look). We are at a loss to be honest

We have a prestashop that has slowed down dramatically (16 seconds page load time). Nobody has been able to identify the problem (although it isn't server or DNS). A developer has suggested upgrading to the latest prestashop release, but we are unsure if this would cause even more issues with modules/theme etc? Any advice very much appreciated.
