  1. Hi hennaboy. Yes, I'm still using CrossBorderIT. Still a manual process, but thankfully no API to bother about. I must have got in at the right time (no 3% transaction fees either). Cheers, Nick
  2. Hi Nickz. Try it out on my website https://calligraphyartsuk.com it detects your language and your country location using MaxMind IP database. I don't think there is anyway you can cope with a VPN giving a different country...
  3. You can, if you utilise a great module that I was introduced to - Geo Targeting Pro - https://prestaheroes.com/products/geo-targeting-pro-by-country-prices-taxes-currency?variant=40653347717327
  4. I don't know - but I have just received an IOSS number from the Swedish Tax Agency using CrossBorderIT as my intermediary, that's partly sorted out my issues. I think the best I can do for orders over €150 is to charge vat at the point of sale and then refund the vat and send a new, manually generated, invoice showing no vat.
  5. @hennaboyI used to until January 1st when the UK left the EU. Now I should not unless I am registered in IOSS with an intermediary, which I am trying to do. Now, since the 1st January, the customer has to pay vat and handling charges when the package enters their country. If they don't then the package is returned to sender. Once I am registered for IOSS, I can reinstate vat payments for EU customers at the point of sale and the IOSS vat statement is sent electronically with the tracking code or a IOSS logo on the postage label. But it does look like some countries are still adding on other charges for the customer before delivery. It's a lot simpler to send parcels to customers outside the EU... sigh...
  6. As I ship from the UK to the EU currently I do not have to apply vat to EU orders. But since the new EU tax laws have come into force (from 1st July) and when I am able to register for IOSS (seemingly hard to do for businesses in the UK), I would need to apply vat to all EU orders below €150. Anything above €150 has the vat applied at the European border, plus any handling charges which the customer has to pay.
  7. @hennaboy I'm trying out Crossborderit.com - worth a look?
  8. Thanks @Nickz. I am selling from the UK to most European countries and have been for a long time. I chose my languages as they are used in countries outside the EU as well, so the Americas and Africa have been good sales for me too. I can cope with the various vat settings for each country, but I don't think there is anything within PS to stop the taxes being added when the cart value is over €150.
  9. I have just found that I cannot access admin area using Chrome. Have had PS 1.7.2.4 for over 4 months with no issue and have always used Chrome. Then recently I could not access using my desktop unless I deleted the desktop's history cache from Chrome. Or sometimes, I could log in okay but could not access orders and it would redirect me to the login page. Then... a couple of days ago I couldn't access the admin at all using my laptop using Chrome. Everything is great when I use MS Edge. I think Chrome has had a couple of updates recently? My Version 64.0.3282.140 (Official Build) (64-bit)
  10. Running PS 1.6.1.4 and PHP7. I have been using this config for a while and suddenly (today) I get the following: The calligraphyarts.co.uk page isn’t workingcalligraphyarts.co.uk is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500 This happens in the back office when I update the order status, or if I update quantities or edit products. In fact when I try and save anything. This also happens in the Front Office when the customer presses "I Confirm My Order". However, all data is correctly saved that I can see. This error has happened overnight with no updates processed. In PHP, I have max vars set to 10000, max execution time set to 120 seconds, max input time set to 120 seconds, memory limit at 256MB Any ideas on what I can do to fix this? Thanks in advance, Nick
  11. I spoke to El Patron and the team at Prestaheroes who upgraded my shop to 1.6.1.4 and the Leo-Wooden theme earlier this year. They have now fixed the issues I've been seeing and I'm a very happy person. Good work team!
  12. Hi all. Is there a proper fix for this yet? I'm asking as I have the same problem of the loyalty points stops the review working. My theme had the Loyalty Points removed from the product page and cart but for some odd reason it came back on the product page after some changes to other country and visitor tax options. I applied the earlier Github code fix to get Loyalty points working, but as stated from all of you, the Product Reviews is now not working. For the time being, I have disabled the reviews section. Additionally now loyalty points is working, it has broken the layout of my related products. They used to be in a carousel but now they are in a list. Website is https://calligraphyarts.co.uk/shop/ using ps 1.6.1.4 and Leo Wooden theme. Has there been a fix to get the product reviews working again. Cheers, Nick
