  1. Running new server with PHP8.1 and Prestashop 8.1. Tried upgrading to PS8.1.1 Auto Upgrade failed with error: Errors [INTERNAL] /var/www/prestashop/modules/autoupgrade/classes/UpgradeTools/Translator.php line 90 - ArgumentCountError: 4 arguments are required, 1 given #0 [internal function]: sprintf() #1 /var/www/prestashop/modules/autoupgrade/classes/UpgradeTools/Translator.php(90): call_user_func_array() #2 /var/www/prestashop/modules/autoupgrade/classes/UpgradeTools/Translator.php(68): PrestaShop\Module\AutoUpgrade\UpgradeTools\Translator->applyParameters() #3 /var/www/prestashop/modules/autoupgrade/classes/ZipAction.php(107): PrestaShop\Module\AutoUpgrade\UpgradeTools\Translator->trans() #4 /var/www/prestashop/modules/autoupgrade/classes/TaskRunner/Upgrade/BackupFiles.php(80): PrestaShop\Module\AutoUpgrade\ZipAction->compress() #5 /var/www/prestashop/admin364rwe1tvcw1heuqmzc/autoupgrade/ajax-upgradetab.php(53): PrestaShop\Module\AutoUpgrade\TaskRunner\Upgrade\BackupFiles->run() #6 {main} ** Noticed it always stopped at one image. Went to more options and turned off backup images and it worked. But it looks like an issue with 1-click upgrade.
  2. The people at WebshopWorks are very responsive. After some back and forth, the issue was identified and they corrected it. Excellent Support and a fantastic module.
  3. I have been using Creative Elements with PS1.7.8 for some time now. I purchased ETS Blog because Creative Elements advertises compatibility with it. I have used the two modules for years now and I have never had any issues with it in the past. I have since Upgraded to ETS Blog v4.5.1. This has caused issues with editing existing Blog entries. PrestaHero declined support as it is a conflict with a third party module. WebshopWorks believes it to be a cache issue, but ALL caches are disabled. I have disabled Caching, including Smarty Cache, Caching (memcached) in Prestashop Advanced. I have also turned off Opcache and disabled CDN. Issues still persist, CE editor shows up blank. Page changes don't show in editor, but are present on actual webpage. I have even tried creating a new shop in ps8.1, but same issues there. Has anyone else experienced any issues? Any Suggestions
  4. In checking my site performance, I came across an issue. I have a number of modules which make use of Font-Awesome. The font-Awesome resource was flagged suggesting I download for one CDN. It appears some of my modules download Font-Awesome from MaxCDN, Some from StackPath, and some store the font locally in their module subdirectories. GTMetrix errors with: Serve resources from a consistent URL, warning of lost time for DNS lookups, redundant downloads of resources, etc. What is the recommended place to store/retrieve fonts? Is Font-Awesome being sent by website multiple times from multiple locations? Is there a way that these resources can share the same font file through entire page refresh? Thanks! 5. I have used Prestashop for 10+ years. I am very happy with it, but find I spend most of my time and money on modules to assist with page design. Wordpress does page design well out of the box. It is extremely easy especially with Elementor to make incredible themes that score well on gtmetrix with no coding. I am currently working on a website which will include Prestashop for the store and Wordpress for the landing, CMS and Blog pages. This will allow me to get rid of modules PrestaBlog, Form Builder Pro, PopUp Pro, Call for Price, Apollo Page Builder, etc. I saw the post you speak of. Since I am not a security expert, and had the luxury of having virtual servers available, I had set Prestashop and Wordpress up on different Servers. I am using PrestaShop-WordPress two-way integration to place a shopping cart in my Wordpress header, and Products on my CMS and Blog Pages to entice customers to visit the store (Most of my traffic arrives on these information pages) and put Wordpress blog pages on Prestashop. I use WorpPress/Elementor for my forms, and pass customer name, address, company, product from the logged in customer From PrestaShop through as variables in a link via HTMLBox. As far as cheaper goes, I spent around $50 on Elementor Pro for Wordpress, $80 for PrestaShop-WordPress two-way integration, and $40 for HTMLBox Pro. I am closer to $500 for the list of modules I am no longer using, not to mention ALL the issues I had with troubleshooting multiple modules. I would like tighter integration. The API allow access to prestashop info, BUT not the logged user (As Far as I can tell). I wrote a small php file that can give me this. It works when called directly from the browser, but when called from another php on WordPress server via cURL or file_get_contents, the current context is lost and data is blank. So while I can pre-populate forms on Wordpress when launched from PrestaShop, I cannot if launched from WordPress directly. The forms popup in a new window sized to the contents, I added a small html code smippet to close the form 4 seconds after the submit. I have not gone live with this revision yet but am very close, waiting on PS 1.7.
  6. Checking if anyone is using these themes. Finally Isolated an issue which caused deferred parsing of java script to fail. Thought I'd share it in-case anyone else is having any issues. Module: LeoFeature - This module has an option "Show Drop Down Cart (flycart)". When set to YES, it causes a failure in deferred parsing of JavaScript. Set to NO it will allow Javascript parsing to be deferred. Module: LeoQuick Login and Social Login - This module also causes Deferred parsing to fail. Simply disabled it rather than trying to isolate the issue. Unfortunately, isolating the problem took nearly 3 weeks, with most of my time waiting for response from Leotheme. Usually found the response to be a single sentence comment which had little to do with the problem. I finally gave up on leotheme support and isolated the problem on my own.
  7. Purchased this module from FME Modules. Uses a ton of overrides. They offer installation assistance. Contacted them for assistance and did not hear back for two weeks. When they did respond, they simply erased all my other overrides causing two existing modules to fail. Even with this, they did not allow their Pretty URL module to function with their advanced seo module. When I tried to disable Pretty URL, entire site went down. Eventually had to restore from backup. Did not honor their 30 day warranty. Do not answer the phone listed on the website. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
  8. Completed restoring my shop. January 1, they responded that they forwarded my refund request, and I would hear from someone soon. Still no response. No one answers their phone. AVOID THESE MODULES!
  9. Anyone having luck with FME Modules PrettyURL? I installed it on my website back on 12/8 and opened a ticket. They did nothing until 12/17, after numerous tries to contact. What they did do is delete overrides for other modules that caused them to stop working. They then told me the errors were the other modules fault. I have now disabled three modules to get my site functioning. I tried to use FME Advanced SEO module for its internal linking (as I disabled my other internal linking module as they disabled its overrides). It works on most pages, (not product pages as it has its own override that is not installed). I contacted the to provide a combine override file for THEIR two modules. I had provided my backoffice and FTP settings which they had used in the past to delete other overrides, but chose to attach the file to their ticket. I loaded the "new" override and nothing happened. I compared it to the PrettyUrl override file and there were no changes. I contacted them again, this time after a couple days they emailed me an empty file. during the process, I found that the internal linking file works well on text only pages but attempts to replace alt text within html img tags breaking the HTML. Does anyone out there use these modules? Are they working? I expect to spend the holidays restoring from backup and repairing my shop. If I could get a working productController override for these modules, I may be able to avoid this.
  10. I have ssl enabled on all pages. After doing this, gzip compression is now off. I am running mod-deflate. Reading about this, most servers turn off compression with SSL as it introduces vulnerabilities, CRIME and BREACH, among others. I can force it on, but most searches say not to unless you are sure it is safe. Without gzip, load times increase and rankings decrease. Are there any recommendations from PrestaShop on the use of SSL and compression? It this a reasonable risk?
  11. I am running Prestashop 1.6.1.10 with the default theme. for one of my products there are 4 Attachments. When I go to the download tab, the first three show up on line 1 and 4th starts new line. When I go to any other tab, the first line of attachments is gone, BUT the attachment on line 2 shows up at bottom of all tabs. Is this an issue with prestashop or a problem with one of the modules I am running?
  12. I have installed Prestashop 1.7 Beta 3. The shop has been configured and is operation. If I go to the root prestashop director ./config, settings.inc.php is present, but is ONLY 23 bytes long and it entire contents consists of two lines: <?php //@deprecated 1.7 so my question is the same as above: I need to change _DB_SERVER_. Where is that constant defined? _DB_SERVER_ is not defined in that settings.inc.php, at least not on my installation. Sorry if I was not clear.
  13. I see that settings.inc.php has been deprecated. I need to change _DB_SERVER_. Where is that constant defined?
  14. Tried to visit Module with intention to disable.Module Page lists Server error. When I try the tab for installed modules, I get: Oops! An Error Occurred The server returned a "500 Internal Server Error".Something is broken. Please let us know what you were doing when this error occurred. We will fix it as soon as possible. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
