  1. Nothing recently no, it all just came a bit out of the blue. I think I'll find some time to upgrade to the latest PS version to see if there's any security fixes I'm missing. Never heard of the Timthumb PHP script, so I doubt it. Thanks for your help
  2. Sadly they don't have any further details. They've given me some tips to work through, but I'm sure they're things I've already covered. For anyone else that has a simple problem, this was is the advice given to me from my web host: Please refer : Alec: http://www.hostknox.com/tutorials/prestashop/security Remove unnecessary files. As your website changes, old files are ignored. They should be removed. Keep copies offline in case you wish to add them again, but remember to update any scripts. Old files are often indexed by search engines. So even if you do not link to those pages anymore, the search engines lists them for Internet users to find and visit. Automated programs to search for these files can find them to exploit them. Implement passwords. Any sensitive files, databases or scripts should be protected. Please use passwords that are difficult to guess. Use letters AND numbers, but be careful to keep the number of characters within the programmed limits and remember that passwords are case-sensitive. Check permissions of uploaded files, make sure files are set to the proper permissions. Remember to upload images as binary and most other files as ASCII files.
  3. Thanks for your reply Bazze. Aside from the CPanel 'Raw Access Log' (which on mine only shows me 24 hours of data) - is there another access log you're referring to? As you say.. think it would be really useful to have a peek into this.
  4. So I woke up today and went onto my homepage, but sadly there were some errors showing on the index.php page. I looked into the remote file and it had been changed: <?php /* * 2007-2011 PrestaShop * * NOTICE OF LICENSE * * This source file is subject to the Open Software License (OSL 3.0) * that is bundled with this package in the file LICENSE.txt. * It is also available through the world-wide-web at this URL: * http://opensource.org/licenses/osl-3.0.php * If you did not receive a copy of the license and are unable to * obtain it through the world-wide-web, please send an email * to [email protected] so we can send you a copy immediately. * * DISCLAIMER * * Do not edit or add to this file if you wish to upgrade PrestaShop to newer * versions in the future. I've removed this code now and put it back to how it was - but I'm confused as to how this could have happened? Any suggestions for stopping this happening again? Cheers, Lee
  5. My theme seems to struggle with Smarty 2... i.e it doesn't actually load! Either way, I discovered the issue... I was over the limit on my webspace allowance and for some reason when the site was caching the size kept it creeping over the limit and causing the error. I've made some space on the server, and the site seems to be working well (touch wood!)
  6. My site went down yesterday, and as such in Google Webmaster Tools there were several errors of URLs Big G was unable to find... included in that, were all of my suppliers, which I understood I'd got rid of. And funnily enough, the links to all of these pages are still present in Google searches. I've just had another look in the sitemap, and the suppliers are definitley gone - but for some reason Google is finding their pages still. Any other suggestions aside from what I've already done above, would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Lee
  7. Hi there, My active site appears to keep going down, whilst all that is shown when going on the domain is a blank page. I've just scrawled through the recent error log and there appears to be an error within the tools/smarty_v2/compile/ folder. For example: This happened first of all the other day after I had done a new feed generation of Google Base v0.7.3.5 but once I re-made the feed after I'd noticed the error, then this resolved the problem. 3 days later (after having not modified anything within the site at all) the problem appears to be back. I just deleted all of the content in the tools/smarty_v2/compile/ folder and the site seems to be functional once again, but having said that - I'm concious that the site will go down again, similar to the previous resolve. Any ideas of why this is happening? And how I can go about stopping this from happening again? Cheers, Lee
  8. Ah okies - I thought perhaps by resubmitting the sitemap, pinging etc.. that this might resolve it! I'll keep a look out on there! Cheers
  9. Hmm sadly this didn't do the trick.. after waiting about a week (and pinging the site/page) it's still showing in Google. Could there still be some remains in the SitemapController.php that need to be removed? I've got the following: Too many 'supplier's in there for my liking!
  10. I'm using 1.4.4.1 so sadly, just missing out on that functionality! Thanks for the confirmation and highlighting sitemap.tpl - I'd forgotten about that one! Fingers crossed that does the trick then
  11. Hi there, When adding products I've been using the Supplier field as a reference to myself, not one that I really want people to see. Having just looked through Google Webmaster Tools, I see that my site is being highlighted several times just due to the Suppliers that I've entered into the products. As a consequence, I've removed the Supplier.tpl and Supplier-list.tpl (as I don't actually use these anyway) and have removed Supplier.tpl from my gsitemap. Is there anything I'm missing with this to stop search engines picking up the Suppliers that I have? I thought maybe there might be something for .htaccess but it's something I'm pretty unfamiliar with. Appreciate any advice you can give on this. Cheers, Lee
  12. I just fell for the same thing kernewek79.. login and you'll get more options (including the Source tab)
  13. Seems I'm having a similar problem (but as of yet, know one seems to be able to identify a resolution!): http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/108868-missing-unique-product-identifiers-google/page__fromsearch__1 I'm looking forward to seeing the progress MrBaseball has made with his issues - I didn't really appreciate before the complexity of submitting to Google Base! I'm sadly experiencing another issue - "Missing recommended attribute: google product category (99 warnings)", is anyone else experiencing this?
  14. I've read that thread, but sadly can't see anything fully explaining the error I'm currently experiencing: Missing Unique Product Identifiers (10 items) Some of your items do not have valid unique product identifiers. Please add valid unique product identifiers. Otherwise, it's possible that none of your items will appear in Google search results. I'm using PS 1.4.4.1 and the Google Base 0.7.3.5. The odd thing is, I have 99 products, 89 of them appear to be fine.. these 10 have this identifier missing BUT comparing some of the 'OK' ones with the 'MISSING' ones.. there are no extra data fields filled in! :S Appreciate any assistance anyone can offer on this!
