  1. Hi, I have full root access to this server. None of the settings (644, 755, 777) solve the above Memcached problem with Prestashop 1.6. How do I update my config file? Thanks!
  2. Hey, thanks for your help. The CHMOD says 777. That is why I don't understand why it fails to read my config. Any suggestions?
  3. Hi there, I am on a VPS and am trying to set up Memcached. However, when I go to Advanced Parameters > Performance > Caching in the backoffice, and I switch Use Cache to 'Yes' and try to select Memcached, it gives me the following error: The settings file cannot be overwritten. Do you guys know how I can solve this issue? Thanks!
  4. I can confirm that this works fine on prestashop 1.6.0.6
  5. I hope it's not just me...but how do I re-order / sort the position of the Featured products on my homepage in PS 1.6? It seems like I can only rearrange Categories..not products? thanks!
  6. Hi, Does anyone know how to add sub-links to the links in this horizontal top menu? So that the links in the menu will expand into clickable sub-links once you hover over them (instead of product categories/products). thanks!
  7. Hi guys, i have a question about the Categories menu below: this one has a '+' sign on mobile, how do I set it to be expanded by default? I want my mobile customers to see all links at first glance.
  8. Have a look at this: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/322224-prestashop-fatal-error-in-module-install-132/ It might help you out!
  9. Try to postpone the update of your modules. Is it essential for you to update your modules to get your catalog working? If not, I wouldn't bother for the moment. Did the previous error message disappear with the new install?
  10. I am sorry you are having these issues Astrid. What version of Prestashop are you running? I am at 1.6.0.5 and I solved it with granting full read/write access to my Smarty cache folders.
