The hosting was asking obviously the error and I haven't been able to turn on errors for some reason, even following the guides. Anyway, I've solved installing version 1.4 and upgrading to 1.5.3!

Not really, they have in the CPanel a lot of web application that I can install but not PrestaShop. As my hosting met all the requirements, there is a way to solve this issue? There is a manual installation, a way to see the error, why it fails? thanks!

I cannot install prestashop 1.5.3 I get always the error at 38% X Populate database tables I've tried with MyIsam or INNOdb The user has access, I've seen all the tables get created and I've seen also content there. I've tried re-creating the database, changing the prefix, no luck. I've changed the settings at 777 on all the install folder and files, on autoload.php as found on some previous threads. I don't have access to apache logs, are there any log files created by prestashop? Nothing found in the log folder. I've changed defines.inc.php define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', true); but no logs.. thanks

No unfortunately I don't have access to the error log. I've found out that the php version installed is 4.4.9.. so I suppose that's the error! I've contacted my provider, let's see if they will upgrade it!! I hope!!

Hi, I am trying to install prestashop. I've uploaded everything and I try to access to the folder, but I get a blank page. I've changed defines.inc.php (version 1.5.3) with define('_PS_MODE_DEV_', true); but no luck, always everything Blank! What can I do? thanks
