  1. Hello, I have I have two servers EU and USA. Geo DNS from AWS cloudfront. I have noticed that very rare but sometimes geoDNS is tricky. It redirect customer after the order to wrong shop and there is no order in BO. Payment is done, but there is no registration order. Have you faced with similar problems? I think that is because on payments like paypal there is no redirect to correct server by IP or something for better return/validation of the server side. It use domain but it is wrong redirected. The same problems with stripe. No errors in logs, nothing. I think that is only related to geoDNS. Is there any way to add something to Stripe module or Paypal module like IP? Have you had a similar problems?
  2. The thing is even clean fresh the newest 1.6 version has problem to upgrade to 1.6.6.x. I will do manual SQL update.
  3. I was updating a fresh clean installation of the newest prestashop 1.6 to newest 1.7 there are error. Is it possible to update to 1.7.6.2 or better to update to 1.7.0 or 1.7.3 and then update it to newest version?
  4. Hello, I was checking manually the updates and compare database. There is many missing things since 1.4. Some tables are missing and now upgrade show errors. So i will try to install 1.7 fresh and copy database manually. There are some modules: https://github.com/ets-soft/prestashop-migrator-free-version but i will do it manually. When you have some experience about manual update (database) or migration tools please let me know. Thank you for your answers.

  8. Hello, I want to run my Prestashop on few VPS and use geoDNS. One server in Europe, 2 servers in USA, 4th VPS in Asia. I am looking for a solution how to create it. Is there anyone have experience with this? 2. I am thinking about Galera cluster MariaDB. Is there anyone who use Galera cluster from MariaDB? I have installed it and imported to Galera but it works very slow. I am wondering if someone is using Galera and can advice. I am wondering if Galera is designed only for HA cluster in e.g 2 local VPS/servers or it could be used with VPS which are in different locations/countries. Is there anyone who have prestashop in few VPS and can share with his knowlegde. How to set up, what do you use etc? Thank you in advance.
  9. Hello, If anyone have a problem with calendar in stats in 1.6.1.6 PS version? There are missing buttons. year, month, submit, so I am not able to change the date.
  10. Ok I see what is the problem. after update to 1.6.1.6 when customer go to https://www.store/discount when he is logged on FO he is able to see all vouchers it should be hidden, so nice bug or feature in 1.6.1.6 $sql .= ' UNION (SELECT '.$sql_part1.' WHERE cr.`group_restriction` = 1 '.$sql_part2.')'; if ($includeGeneric && (int)$id_customer != 0) { $sql .= ' UNION (SELECT '.$sql_part1.' WHERE cr.`id_customer` = 0 '.$sql_part2.')'; } deleted includeGeneric and it seems to be ok what it is for? includeGeneric?? soluction: https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop/blob/develop/controllers/front/DiscountController.php This was not a hacker, just a customer who found vouchers and used it. You may close this topic.
  11. A week ago I had sendtoafriend, but I have deleted it when I heard about security problem. I deleted it for a prevention, we had no problems. Today we meet with security issue and fraud orders. Any other advises? For this moment I have disabled all vouchers in Prestashop. In /modules/ I can't see any forlder with sendtoafriend but in BO/modyles I see sendtoafriend that I can install it. Is it show the modules that it is available in addons, because there is no module in FTP?
  12. We have updated Prestahops to 1.6.1.6 and all modules. Today we had hacker who get somehow vouchers which was 200GBP and use them to order digital products via paypal. We choose products for 202GBP and used voucher for 200GBP, so he paid 2GBP only. There is some gap in prestashop where hacked can use and see all your vouchers. I have called to Paypal to report this orders and block/investigate this hacker account. Paypal haven't done anything and after 2hours hacker made other unauthorized transaction. Please disable all not necessary vouchers. edit: https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/544579-major-security-issues-with-few-modules-and-themes/ no installed extra problematic modules edit2: I was trying to open a bug report but I have problem to do it. Now works http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCSX-8270 It seems that you have tried to perform an operation which you are not permitted to perform. If you think this message is wrong, please contact your JIRA administrators.
  13. @a_smith, do you use multishop? if yes please go to localizaction > select each of your shop and CHECK currency. I am don't know who was such "smart" but even you have all shops and set up main currency presta takes settings from each shop. e.g when my product was 25GBP i go go domain.fr and took price in € I had price 25€ jupi, such useless feature until you want to have 25zl 25€ 25rupi 25GBP but in 99% cases no. I have to change all to GBP to have correct prices. Conversion rate is only 1, but if you are not stick to one currency you can have a mess. In my opinion is a bug and it should be corrected, at least when you select all shop and select 1 currency for all shops (others settings for each shop should be disabled)
