You can login ( or better " connect" using a progam like filezilla (in which you have to fill some parameters like the ftp-server, user and passwords) these connection-information is provided by the hosting-service.

I considered the advantages and disadvantages of upgrading to another version of PS and concluded , together with the site-owner (I just the "site-maintenaner") to stay with this version for now .

I use Prestashop 1.5; with PHP-version 5.3.29. I would lmike to stay (at least for now) with this version. But prestashop mentioned that the PHP-version should be 5.4 or even PHP 7. Is this also the case for PS 1.5 , so I must ask the host-provider to upgrade, or is this version still enough. patriek

I upgraded from 1.5.6.1 to 1.6.1.12 on my test-site . When I open this test set (test.italiaansewijnkopen.be) I get following message (see attachment) What does this mean and how to rectify? I upgraded from PS 1.5.6.1 to 1.6.1.12.If I want to acces the shop I get a 500 server error.(shop is not in mainteance mode) I applied fix described in this blog (https://www.prestashop.com/blog/en/the-500-internal-server-error-explained-solved/ )(versions above 1.5.3 Now I get he error (see screenshot) What's does that mean ? find it! default-theme was called default-bootstrap (dir themes) renamed it to default. Shop layout is not what it should be. thanks Patriek

I have a PS 1.5 based site. I would like to take a complete copy in order to test some things out . Is there a simple way to do this?

I'm using PS 1.5 and paypal-module 3.10.10 site : http:/www.italiaansewijnkopen.be 2 questions : - paypal-logo on homepage and checkout-page is a big question-mark : how to resolve (topics in forum unclear) - although my site is only in dutch when I click on the "logo" of PayPal I see a French tekst, I like to have this in dutch (or English). Is there a ( simple)way to do this ? Tx the first part (the french tekst shoiuld be engish, I solved in "translations" The second part : paypal-logo is big questionmark, I managed to collect some more info using Firefox and firebug If you look at attached file "questionmark" you see (the img-line ) that the image is taken from /modules/PayPal/modules/PayPal/views/img/default_logos/BE_vertical_solutionPP.png (etc) this should be /modules/PayPal/views/img (see attached file paypal-logo) But where to change that? How can you delete/modify the contents of the shopcart in the mobile site. No button and the quantity ( 7 here) can't be changed.

In my shop I installled and configured the paypal-module (using the PayPal standard checkout not the express checkout because If I use express checkout free delivery (pick up the goods) can't be choosen) But on the homepage and the final pay page the paypal-logo is no displayed,only a question-mark. (see attached) I use PS 1.5 and paypal-module 3.10.10 how to improve that ?

Well I tried but I am a bit "baffled" The order of the products is: 47 frizzante, 48 lucis primae, 59 bardolino, 60 "bisanzio", 61 "omen", 206 vigna, 221 morgentino This order should suggest that the frizzante is displayed first, but it it displayed last! And if we asume a descending order Morgentino shoulkd be first but it is second last! I noticed also,but perhaps that's normal, that the fitst product has ID 33 and the ID's aren't sequential. The ID's aren't renumbered if products dissapear?(correct ?) So, I see no easy solution to cope with my problem. Any suggestions? ps. I also notice a small difference in display between different browsers ( f.e. IE 11 and Google C hrfome) : see the boxes around the featured products. (in chrome third box nolt properly "closed")
