  1. Can't seem to grab the file. Client is still using old version (since literally every update she had before broke & wound up costing her $$$ to have me fix). If anyone still has a copy can you please re-post to this thread?
  2. Thanks a TON for keeping this link active -- one of my clients has an old version of Prestashop & the email notifications were driving us nuts. Working now, whee!
  3. Hi, I have a client who asked me to duplicate his catalog and set up the copy on a new server (we altered the product line slightly). We are having problems with customer orders and customer questions going to the other catalog's contact person rather than the new one. I changed the customer service, etc. email addresses in the back office, but emails (especially post-order customer service questions) are still going to the original contact email instead of the new one. Is there a file in the program where I need to manually override this? If so, can you point me in the right direction? I'm frankly going a little cross-eyed with this catalog so please forgive me if there's an obvious fix. Thanks! -Dora B.
  4. You're the best - thank you so much! I'm bookmarking this just in case they need a third catalog in a year
  5. I built one online shop for my clients which works quite well (http://www.learninggizmos.com/pincentives) and looks fine. That first shop is v.1.5.5. Now they want a second shop for a new business venture they're developing. They want me to use the same theme but with their second company's color scheme. I installed v.1.5.6 and uploaded the same theme (third-party) with only one hitch: the top horizontal menu is offset to the right of the screen (http://www.learninggizmos.com/seniors). I've tried to fix this myself to no avail - maybe I'm just going crosseyed at this point? Anyway, any guidance would be very much appreciated. Thanks
  6. Hi, I'm also getting this error after an upgrade to 1.5.3.1 - An error occurred while updating object. product () I tried the phpMyAdmin fix (adding redirect_type) to pr_product & pr_product_shop but it didn't make any difference. We're trying like crazy to get our shop working but so far it's been one thing after another -- please help! Update: Used the fix suggested by Anat in #28 - now it's working like a charm. Should have double checked this entire thread first -- sorry, guys. And thanks, you're the best! I've found more solutions here than I ever have over @ Forge
  7. If you go to Forge they'll just tell you over & over again to upgrade; whatever you do, don't use the 1-Click. It's breaking 1.5.2 stores all over the place and they aren't even trying to close the tickets; they haven't even responded to most of them and some go back to December. I'm in the middle of deleting the entire shop from my server and just running a fresh install of 1.5.3 (using the backup, of course). Naturally, they'll do this for you if you've become so frustrated from dealing w/the 1.5.2 bugs that you just can't take it any more; prices start at only EU150 -- --this level of awful is bordering on scam, imo. Who launches ecommerce software with broken carts? It's almost enough to send me back to ZenCart.
  8. Thanks, I'll give it a try. I posted the issue to PS's bug tracker and they closed the ticket and told me to upgrade. This was a fresh install (like only two weeks ago) direct from Bluehost; I've already added 200+ images that the backups don't load. An upgrade is out of the question, since I don't have time to upgrade, reload the graphics, and fix whatever the d*mn upgrade breaks in the theme before we launch on Friday. Sorry to vent, I'm going cross-eyed from reading code. Thanks again! -d
  9. I'm working on two sites and this problem comes up w/both. The site I need to address ASAP is www.pinpartnersonline.com. When I add items to the cart it shows up in the cart block in the header but when I click on the icon I get the message "your cart is empty". On the back end it looks like the customer ditched the cart. I did have it working and was able to place and complete several test orders. I added affiliate code from OmniStar to controllers/front/OrderConfirmationController.php and was again able to place and complete test orders - but after a few test orders with their code, the cart stopped working. I removed the code and cleared my cache, deleted my cookies, and uninstalled and reinstalled the cart block; it still does not work in Chrome. I also tried unhooking and the re-establishing the hooks for the cart. I just can't get the cart to populate in Chrome. The cart works just fine in Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer. 2nd issue: Users can register and can work within the site as logged-in users immediately after registration, but once they've logged out they cannot log back in. The error I receive is "authentication failed". This issue occurs across all browsers, even when I clear the cache, cookies, etc. I'm beyond frustrated with this release. I used 1.4.8 prior to switching to Bluehost for these accounts and since "upgrading" to 1.5.2, it's been one issue after another. I can't take another update, especially if it's going to break my themes again. Please send me the steps to resolve these issues in this version.
