  1. Upon moving hosting servers, we have encountered this issue where making any kind of change to the modules featured on the template, that will cause the changes to duplicate even if it's only a simple change. The last time this happened it was merely the database duplicating the value and was able to fix it by doing edits directly into the database. However this time there is nothing wrong with the database value. Looked for alternatives but have come up short. Need to know if there is a possible fix for this issue to prevent it from happening or should I push them to update/change their template. Thanks in advance.
  2. Nope thats the first thing We checked, problem persists. So far all edits have been done through the database, abiet taking more time,
  3. Hello all, Been having issues editing data on the back end. We recently got a new ISP and now have been unable to make edits to our website using them. The situation is like this we login into the back office and then proceed to make update to the products. Once updates are done we click on the save button and upon reload the page directs us back to the admin login and once you log in again you'll see that no changes have been made. We Need Help Figuring Out ASAP!! Current Version 1.6.1.0 Browser used Firefox, Chrome and IE
  4. Thanks for the response we have an idea that it can possibly be the theme we are using we are going to some testing and the previous version we have before making the store live
  5. When the new htacces file is generated its any page and the urls are of the link you click on yes since the site is live we don't want to leave it with broken htaccess file
  6. Yes i get 404 pages on all product categories and cms pages. Yes it get updated with 755. We are using a linux based vps
  7. the file does get updated but the pages are no longer coming up just like the first time we encountered this issue
  8. Yest that is correct we used on from another store with no content and updated the file to correspond with our store.
  9. We are having some problems with our htaccess file when we placed the store to use friendly urls the pages we no longer coming up. We then tried other ways to get it to work untill we finally used a htaccess file generated by a fresh build of prestashop using friendly urls and it worked. Now the issue is the ssl, keep getting notice that not all of the page is secure and we've look at most of the code that can be causing the issue. We figure it could be that since we custom wrote most of the htaccess file that it is no longer rewriting for the ssl. Does anyone have a solution???
  10. We were able to get our htaccess file to allow the friendly urls and get the site going. We took a look at the htaccess file generated from a fresh prestashop build that was 1.5.6.0 and have upgraded it to 1.5.6.1
