Is the site slow because of the theme / prestashop or because of settings in the server ? Anyone know ? Is there any showcase sites with this theme on ?

Hi! I have bought the template "Sleek and Clean Hardware Store", and discovered some major bugs on the template. 1. With IE browser, you cannot register as a customer. When you click "Log in" you see the Login page with all menu items opened, see screenshot attached. When typing the email address in and clicking register, there is no reponse. 2. Errors in registration Some of my test users have tried to register, and have problems with logging in after registration. This happens on different browsers, not just on IE. For those who wants to take a look at this, check out www.kinashop.no, this is a basic installation, no modifications done except from installing the theme. I am now 4 days over my launch plan deadline, and asking for help at addons.prestashop.com leads to response only about once per day. Usually have to wait about 24 hours before even getting a response. Anyone got any ideas on how I can move forward here ? Is it possible to get a refund, or do you have any recommendations on other solutions that would make this work for me? I'm just REALLY frustrated right now, and don't know how to proceed.

Hi! I installed Prestashop on a windows server, but since everything was working really slow, I asked my hosting partner to change to a Linux server. After doing this, I installed Prestashop from scratch (had to remove my old content first), which worked just fine. When I try to change to the theme I bought from "addons.prestashop.com" called "Sleek and Clean Hardware Store", the Theme Installer tells me that the Zip file seems to be broken. This happens even if I check the zip-file and everything looks fine. I've tried to upload it via ftp, and from the computer inside the theme installator, but both fails. Have anybody got any good tips for me on how to fix this ? Do I have to change anything since its a Linux server ? Best regards, Anders

I have installed Prestashop with a theme bought from "addons.prestashop.com". If you open www.kinashop.no og press log in with Internet Explorer, the whole menu seems to be opened up, and the function "register" don't work. (see attachment) This works perfectly on Firefox and Google Chrome. Anyone know why ?

I would also know more about the vouchers system. Been searching for it in my admin. Using v. 1.5.2

And in the "Themes" there has appeared a new theme with the "correct name" but its not available in the admin

Thx for helping out. My version is 1.5.2, and I have uploaded the new theme into the themes folder via ftp. Here is what I've done: 1. Open "Preferences" and "Themes" 2. Clicked [+ Add new] 3. Added name from folder name 4. clicked save 5. selected new theme Didn't work, so I found the "themeinstallator", and tried "upload from computer" After a while it just stopped, and I hoped it had installed correctly, but nothing had happened

Hi! I've just installed prestashop and added a theme that I've bought from addons.prestashop.com. I'm not sure how to do this, because even if I select the new theme, the site looks just the same. Anyone that can help me with this ? Best regards, Anders, Norway

And - if it was like magic just to write in this forum, it suddenly worked when I retried. I did the same as before, for the 20th time, and this time it worked... Well, I'm eager to look into this now

Hi! I've just downloaded and is eager to try this, but my ftp software (Filezilla) gives an error message every time I try to rename the admin folder. Status: Changing name from '/www/admin' to '/www/admin2' Command: RNFR admin Response: 350 Directory exists, ready for destination name. Command: RNTO adfs Response: 450 Internal error renaming the file I've also tried to rename using another ftp program, but this also gives the same error. I don't have any problem renaming other folders. Anyone have an idea on how to solve this ? Thx in advance!
