1-Click Upgrade Fatal Error (Issue resolved, well worked around)
glennlawre replied to glennlawre's topic in General topics
I have also had many problems with this module over the years and there never seemed to be much support on it. Given it's an official PS module it really should have better support from PS. All I can recommend to do in this case is to get the original module files, maybe for a different version, and replace these in your "modules" folder. You might need to download a version of PS to get the original module files from the extraction. Or you might be able to find a download of just the module files somewhere. I have had to do this in the past to get over issues with this module.. If this doesn't work and you can't resolve the issue with the module you may be looking at a complete "manual" upgrade which involves downloading the site and running locally using WAMP or similar and updating before re-uploading back to your site. Messy process but sometimes required... There's documentation on this on the PS site. Let me know if you can't find and I'll dig out s link. -
1-Click Upgrade Fatal Error (Issue resolved, well worked around)

As this was over 1 year ago, I'm trying to remember exactly what I did... As far as I recall, I think I used the Auto-Upgrade module and selected the "*Local directory" option to complete the upgrade. To do this you need to upload an un-zipped version of the install files (for the version you want to upgrade to) to the directory highlighted in the image below and then select the various options before clicking to perform the update. Just be sure to do a full back-up of all files and your DB before attempting as I have had this fail in the past and had to restore. I hope this helps... -
Does anyone have anything to advise on this...?

1-Click Upgrade Fatal Error (Issue resolved, well worked around)

Managed to get the site updated following the manual upgrade process. Not without having to jump through a few hoops first though (creating missing DB tables, changing PHP version and settings etc.), but we got it updated in the end. -
I'm having this exact same issue after updating my site to PS 1.6.1.24, the same version as the original poster. We don't see duplicate orders in PayPal but we get them every time in our store which results in 2 orders and 2 sets of emails to us and the customer. Each order had a different order ID. We have been able to replicate this by placing an order and using PayPal as the payment method and completing the process and paying via PayPal. The issue is only happening for PayPal orders, module version 3.14.0, the latest version available for PS 1.6.1.24. Orders that select payment method of Cheque payment do not result in duplicates. When we disable Smarty Cache this resolves the duplicate order issue. Anyone any ideas what the issue might be here? I'd like to be able to keep SMARTY cache on for better performance. Many thanks in advance...

Anyone have any further ideas on this? I really need to update the PS version on this site and this error is preventing me from doing so. Any other workarounds even to get the site updated would be very much appreciated... -

One other thing, In case it helps. I am running PHP 7.0 on this site. If I change to any later version the site stops working, hence the reason for wanting to upgrade... -

The below is from my "error_log" in my root directory, Not sure if it will help though as I've just re-created the error and the log has not update. Last time of update was yesterday. -
Hello All, I am trying to update a PS v1.6.0.6 site via the 1-Click Upgrade module and I am seeing the below error when I click "Configure" on the module. Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required '/' (include_path='.:/opt/alt/php70/usr/share/pear') in /classes/PrestaShopAutoload.php on line 122 I have updated to the latest version of the 1-Click Upgrade module, v4.9.0 I have searched high and low and cannot find a mention of this being fixed anywhere. Anyone any ideas...? Many thanks in advance.

Drop-Down on Top Horizontal Menu not working
glennlawre replied to glennlawre's topic in Configuring and using PrestaShop
I've just also noticed that the menu is not functioning at all on mobile, nor is the Ajax cart functioning at all. Maybe this could be a js issue? Any ideas...? -
I have updated from an earlier version of PS v1.6.xx to v1.6.1.17 and the drop-down feature on Top Horizontal Menu has stopped working. The site is located here http://www.liamstoys.ie/. I have another site still on an earlier version of PS v1.6 and this feature is working fine on this site. I have copied the module from this site to the updated site but this does not resolve the issue. I have also tried to reset the module but no joy. I have found some posts on this that refer to the position/hook for the Quick Search Block, but I have it hooked to the same positions as the site that is working. I have also tried to reset this module but same result, no joy. Anyone any ideas...? Many thanks in advance... Glenn

Guys, After updating my site from v1.6.1.1 to v1.6.1.5, all seemed to be ok as I spent a couple of days configuring via the back office. However, now when I try to access the site I get the below error. Notice: Use of undefined constant _PS_CONFIG_DIR_ - assumed '_PS_CONFIG_DIR_' in /domain-folder/config/config.inc.php on line 64 Warning: require_once(_PS_CONFIG_DIR_autoload.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /domain-folder/config/config.inc.php on line 64 Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '_PS_CONFIG_DIR_autoload.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /domain-folder/config/config.inc.php on line 64 At first I was only getting this on the front end and could still access the back end, but now I am getting it at both ends and cannot access the admin area. Can anyone offer any assistance? Many thanks in advance... Glenn
