  1. I have followed this procedure but still have a BO full of information and images all over my FO. I have checked on a different computer and it is the same there, too. Please help me get rid of this stuff.
  2. Why is there never a solution posted to this issue? Never mind. I give up. I will find a different shop solution.
  3. I'm not finding any answers on the forum about this issue. Only problems.
  4. In Motion Hosting is terrible for Prestashop, IMO. I got a blank page and no help.
  5. Does anyone know if this issue has been resolved in the more recent versions of Prestashop? This was my issue a couple of years ago. I am thinking of trying Prestashop again, but I don't want to go through the same exact mess. I do not need and cannot afford a dedicated server, so if that is the only thing that will cure this I may as well find a different shop setup. What I am looking for is someone who runs Prestashop with no problems on something other than a dedicated server, and hopefully Godaddy because I have had so many failures with other hosts. Please advise.
  6. Hello, I tried Prestashop with various hosts a few years ago and had no success getting it to run. I am considering trying again, this time with Godaddy. If you use Godaddy + Prestashop and you do not have problems, would you please share with me the hosting environment you purchased? Example: Economy, Deluxe, Ultimate. I really do appreciate your input. Thank you.
  7. Just added a tag to this topic. It looks like it works now. Thanks for fixing it, even after Forty Days have passed.
  8. I never actually wanted memcache. It was just something in the admin panel that was giving out a warning, and I had a serious problem with my shop [not having a header or a footer; only the logo and a bluegray line] so I tried to get memcache from webhostinghub and then bluehost. Bluehost assured me that it would be no problem at all to have memcache. They said it was already installed! But, as soon as I loaded a new prestashop, same story as [ ] above. I asked Bluehost to fix it, they declined. They're liars and that's that. All I really want is to upload my own prestashop [no simple scripts, no scriptaculous] to a server and have it LOAD and WORK. I don't even have any idea what memcache is, or what it does, or what it might do. Where in the world is there a simple shared hosting that will LOAD and RUN Prestashop?
  9. Correct. After being assured that all of their servers do indeed support memcache, I signed up with bluehost.com. LIARS. I have now wasted another three days. Can someone tell me where to go to get some hosting that will make it so that a prestashop installation will properly load and run? Surely that is not too much to ask of a hosting provider. webhostinghub was bad but at least they weren't liars. I don't think prestashop should recommend bluehost because they LIE. Maybe I need a better shopping cart.
  10. I can't download it from this site or the cnet site. Please fix this soon.
  11. I use Firefox 14.0.1. I don't have any other browsers to try because I'm not turning on IE on my new laptop, no way, no how. Adding tags is not that big a deal, though. I'll live. Thank you for replying, razaro.
  12. The Use Full Editor button doesn't do anything, and neither does Cancel, by the way. I have to just close the page.
