  1. Same type of issue in 1.7. Totals and subtotals are incorrectly displayed. Is there a way to change the coding so that we can get it to calculate what we need it to correctly. What file do we need to change? Can I put the tax above the total line or add another line below the total line? Help please. Thank you.

  3. Hi. I hope this helps. I figured out a way to add multiple ranges for the taxes. For example I am located in florida. There is a 6% tax for the state and a 1.5% surtax in my specific county = 7.5% So I made a new tax (1.5%) as seen here: and named it the same as the 1st florida tax (6%) + surtax (1.5%) as seen here: So there are 2 taxes now - Florida - (6%) and Florida + Surtax (1.5%) *If you have multiple counties that you operate out of, then you will need to make a surtax for each one. (Don't have a way of getting around this, I only have one shop) Ex. Florida (6%), (county) surtax (1.5%), (county 2) surtax (0.5%), etc. Next I went to tax rules and selected the florida tax (6%) and configured it as seen here: . I then renamed it so I would know that the new florida sales tax also has a surtax added for specific zipcodes as seen here: The configuration is as follows (first set everything to combine then change the state tax back to "this tax only") Florida - do not enter zipcodes - combine- 6% Florida - zipcode range - combine - 1.5% (surtax) Florida - new zipcode that is not in the range - combine - 1.5% (surtax) Florida - different zipcode that might be a different range- combine - 1.5% (surtax) Finally change the first Florida (the state tax that applies to the entire state) to "this tax only" As follows: Florida - do not enter zipcodes - this tax only - 6% Florida - zipcode range - combine - 1.5% (surtax) Florida - new zipcode that is not in the range - combine - 1.5% (surtax) Florida - different zipcode that might be a different range- combine - 1.5% (surtax) Done! Now if someone is in the state of Florida but not in the county they will only be charged the state tax (6%) and if someone is in the specified county/zipcodes they will be charged the state tax and surtax (7.5%).

  6. There have been so many questions about this. There is a $200+ module you can buy to fix this but so far no one has shown a tutorial on how to edit this. I don't understand why you wouldn't want the same layered navigation for those pages as well. This is another thread. https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/297566-display-the-layered-navigation-block-in-new-products-prices-drop-and-best-sales/
  7. Hi. I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but I made a discount feature (50% off, 40% off, 30% off) for products and used it in layered navigation as a quick fix. You might be able to use a slider instead of a check box format like I used.
  8. Wow. I've been trying to get this going since 2012 and still couldn't figure it out. I always wondered why this wasn't already a default option.
  9. Omg I have emailed 20+ prestashop developers and 3rd party card reading app developers to find out if there is any integration! So far stripe and quickbooks intuit gopayment look promising. But no response from most of the mobile card developers yet. All of the pos modules are okay except they dont work smoothly like square and paypalhere or you have to input unnecessary data like names and email addresses. Maybe prestashop will graduate to shopify and square ecommerce + POS card processing soon. This is what ive been sending to everyone in hope of a response: "Hi. Do you have a module that will turn prestashop into a full pos system that can also accept cash and mobile payments for selling on the go, such as fairs and tradeshows, such as paypal here, squareup, intuit quickbooks go pay, swipe, etc? Is there a module (or group of modules) that can turn prestashop into full pos that will allow in-store transactions complete with a barcode scanner, card reader and printer that does not need you to type in the customers name or have them sign in as a guest? Thank you.
  10. Yes. I have provided the tutorial here on this thread. If you have any questions, please let me know.
  11. Hi. I used the Addthis social plugin (the one made for newsletters) and just added the source code to my cms page at the bottom and then centered it. The only setback is that you can only use one page as a landing page for when people want to share your link. You can change this by changing the customized setting for each page and copying the code each time. It's tedious but it's a quick fix for now. 1. go to dashboard 2. scroll down to "share tools" 3. use "newsletter sharing buttons" 4. customize your block 5. add your code to the cms page using the "source code" tool 6. change your customization on add this for each page. For example (If you wanted to add the bar to an "about page," you would customize the code specifically for that page, save it, then add it to the page. Then if you wanted to add the bar to a "press page," you would customize the code again for that page, update it, then use that code for that particular page. there is no span tags or scripts so everything works Pic 1 ---> http://oi59.tinypic.com/33zcv9j.jpg Pic 2 ---> http://postimg.org/image/cdd9qmjd9 Pic 3 ---> http://postimg.org/image/m2lbfxktn Pic 4 ---> http://postimg.org/image/nh2wppuvb
  12. Hi there. I had the same issue at first. The payment goes through fine but prestashop doesnt register it and neither does paypal as far as items are concerned. Have you tried dowloading the module directly from addons and then deleting the current module and then uploading the new module? That is what worked for me. The module did not update correctly when i did it in backoffice using.the update button. Try this method out and tell me what you get. Hopefully it works for you as well.
  13. True. It also allows you to print invoices and receipts for orders. It also comes in handy when giving refunds for specific items. But of course you can always do a partial refund without the itemization. I always just viewed it as a backup for orders. The only thing to think about is if paypal allows the use of their module to be edited in that way. Otherwise, have at it and good luck!
  14. Paypal takes the data so that you can make shipping labels if needed and it uses it to verify where a credit card was used and where the items are being shipped to to prevent fraud and identity theft. If someone's card is being used for a large amount of money in a foreign state or country for example, paypal would be able to stop transactions on the card in case it is reported stolen. It's for the customers protection as well.
  15. Hi. I have Prestashop 1.0.6.9 and I'm using Paypal USA/Canada/Mexico 1.3.8 Standard Live mode. I updated through the backoffice using the "update" button for the module at first, it showed it had been updated to the latest version but still did not work. So then I manually updated it and it worked. I suppose some files that need to be changed don't always come through with the "update" buttons just yet. Or maybe some files aren't being cleared when updating so it conflicts. 1. Uninstalled the module. 2. Delete it, then reinstall it manually through the back office from Prestashop Addons. Now everything works correctly! Have you tried downloading the module directly from the Prestashop Addons? Once you've downloaded it, go to your back office and click on modules. At the top is a button that reads "add a new module" click it and upload the zip folder. Reinstall the Paypal module, fill in your credentials, and then test it. This has worked for me. The order shows up now in the back office and everything. Paypal also registers the order and items and the customer sees it in their order history once the payment has been approved by Paypal. (Just requires the customer to refresh the page or wait 10 secs to view their order).
