Hi i am using presetashop 1.6.1.6 version. I have also bought the advance search module filter. I made some slight layout changes to the module so that the filter options appear at the top of the page. I am however facing some issues with it and need some help to fix the errors. The errors are: 1) once the user selects a filter option from advance search, and in the results page, if the user refreshes the page, or clicks on back button, then either he gets server error and page does not load, or if the page loads, then the advance search menu is not shown 2) normally if no filter options are selected, then on mouse-over a any images in category page, the product images change. However, if the user selects a filter option, and in the results shown, if he does mouse-over the images do not change Finally we want to make some further changes to design layout of advance search filter. For example the menus should expand automatically on mouse-over and collapse if mouse is moved away, plus some small layout changes. I can give you a perfect example of how it should look and function. If you can do this work for a fee, please let me know. This is very urgent work

i am making a new prestashop site, ver 1.6.1.6, which is almost ready. The site has more than 20,000 products and almost every product has about 50-60 combinations, so it is a large catalogue. The site is not officially started so there are no visitors coming yet. But the site is very slow, and I need it to be optimized the best way possible, so that it can load any page under 2 seconds. The main goal is to get all pages specially Category pages (including filter search results) and Product pages to load under 2 seconds. The site is already on a dedicated server. The current page loading time is very erratic from 6 seconds to 12 seconds. Anybody who can help with this I would really appreciate. I am also ready to do this as a project and pay for the help received, so that I can achieve this goal

Hi, we are using 1.6.1.6 version with a custom theme "Panda" installed. We need to make some changes to our site like changing the product page layout design, customizing the checkout flow process (reducing the number of steps to 3 steps, adding some custom fields) and some other similar custom changes, full details i can provide you If you are already familiar with panda theme then it will be added bonus as changes will be easier to make. I am looking for someone very professional who can do clean coding. This is an urgent project.

Hi 1) currently the layered navigation block is shown vertically in the left column be default. Instead of this, is there a way to show the block horizontally (I wan to move it to the top of my products in the category page). I have searched alot but i cannot find an answer. If anyone could really help me with this. If someone is willing to do this for money (as i dont have much coding experence) then I am willing to pay also. 2) Also another question regarding layer navigation block: is it possible to use predefined price range for price range sort option. For example i want to use predefined price range like $1 to $35, $36 to $38, $39 to $50 etc if anyone can please help thanks

hi, 3 months ago i downloaded prestashop version 1.61.4. I did not make any changes to any of the files. I have however uploaded over 8000 products, created new categories, made new features etc However some files in this version of prestashop got messed up due to a mistake, so I had to download a new prestashop, which is now version 1.6.1.6 I am wondering as I did not make any changes to any of the php etc files, is it possible that i can simple change the database username password settings in settings.inc.php file and link the new version site to the old version database. I tried doing this but the site is not opening and timing out. I am thinking there might be some other settings that i might need to change. I need to get this fixed urgently. Any help with be appreciated. If someone is willing to do this for some money, then I am willing to pay also as this is very urgent thanks

Hi, I have presetashop 1.6.0.4 and about 3000 products but each product has about 30 combinations and lots of images. I am trying to upgrade to newest version of prestashop, and for that I need to export the csv file using the prestashop export feature in 1.6.0.4 for products But when I try that, it gives me error that www.my site name...... is currently unable to handle this request. And it does not work When I try for category export it is working. So I am thinking maybe because of large number of products it is not working. Is there any help or suggestion for this thanks

hello, i need to create similar combinations for many products in prestashop 1.6. for example, products a,b,c,d they all need to have same combinations applied to them. each product has different images, but the attributes such as size (big, small etc) are all same for each product. the price variance for each attribute is also same for each product. the only difference is that each product has different images. is there any module that is available whether free or if can be purchased, that can create multiple product combinations at once. i have over 3000 products, and creating combinations one by one will take too much time. any help will be appreciated thanks

hello our site in 1.6, was slightly changed by a coder we had hired. the site page can be viewed here:- goo.gl/9XNspK The 2 scroller images that you see on top (the image that keeps changing with regular time interal), we want to update those images. the problem is when we try to update those image in backend, by deleting the image in admin > category page, the image does not get deleted and nothing happens. i am a very newbie in this field, but after searching through code, i found this variable: {if $scroller_imgs|@count > 5} which is where the system checks basically if there are any category scroller images specified. I am wondering, is this variable $scroller_imgs, point to something in database (if so then i can change the image directly in database). I tried to directly change the image by overwriting the image file in ftp, but for some reason, on page refresh, it keeps reverting back to old image. I know I was not able to clearly describe the issue, but if it makes sense, can you help me please. i have tried to fix this for last 2 days and i am stuck

hello i am facing issues with current block layer navigation module in prestashop 1.6. it is very slow. can anyone using different modules, suggest a product filter module that can work in 1.6 version and is working very nice. i have 2 main criterias: page speed, and the filter module should be seo friendly i only have about 800 products in my store. any help you can give will be appreciated thanks

hello, i have newly installed prestashop 1.6 and i am experiencing very slow loading time, specially in the category page. it is taking over 32 seconds for the page to load. the page in question is at this link: http://goo.gl/9XNspK if you open the page, it takes over 32 seconds in general. i am not an expert in testing or on website building. but while trying to find out the reason for problem and asking a coder, i have the following issues:- 1) the time to first byte is very slow. is this issue because of hosting, or because of page content itself. Many other pages of the website are loading faster, except the category pages, so i dont understand. the website is hosted in shared server 2) it can be a block layered navigation module: i only have about 800 products, so there are not that many products, so the layer navigation module should be working fast. if i disable this module and load the page, the page is loading very fast. if this module is not good, can anyone please suggest a faster, reliable navigation product filter module, that is also seo friendly again, i tried to search for new filter module but since i am not too technical, i am not sure which one will be best, specially considering speed, and seo any help will be appreciated thanks

Hi thanks for the reply. Layered Navigation seems to be the problem. I disabled it, and tried to load the page, it is loading within 2 seconds, but if enabled, it is slowing everything. However i need layered navigation module. Or in your experience as this module is giving a problem, is there any other that we can use with same functions thanks

Hello thanks for reply. I have hostgator shared hosting. I have other site with same hosting which is working well, just this site is slow. i have optimized mysql database but it made no difference in loading time. thanks

Hello, the prestashop 1.6 site is loading very slow in general, and the following page is specially loading extremely slow. "Minify Html" enabled "Apache optimization" enabled "compress inline javascript in html" disabled as otherwise the page javascript does not work "smart cache for Javascript " disabled Use Cache" disabled The above are the main settings. The page is very slow, eventhough there are only about 700 products and less than 20 category. When I asked the hosting company, to see if it is a hosting related issue, they say that inefficent mysql query is causing the problem, but i am not technical savvy to know if this is really the case, or if they are just finding any excuse. When reading other post, i saw that i should set ps_debug_profiling to true and see what it shows. It is showing the following, but as i am not technical, it makes no sense to me. hello i have just installed and added products on prestashop version 1.6. I am using the default theme is there a way i can specify which products will show under following blocks new arrivals popular bestsellers New Arrivals I understand that new arrivals will take the last added products and show them, but what if I wanted to show a different set of products Popular Is there a way to specify which products will show up under popular Bestsellers: there are no products here. how can i populate this part also is there any ways to manage this thanks
