  1. Hi all, We run a shop where we sell clothing. The stock works great where it tells us what we have. We have now bought a t-shirt printer and it is causing us issues with stock management. For example we purchased 100x blank t-shirts. We have 10 different designs that people can choose from and they also have the option of putting their name on it, choose a font and a colour for their name. I have therefore setup combinations and given each option 100 qty since that is how much stock of the bank t-shirt we have. The issue is now there are over 300 different variations each with 100 qty in stock! Is there any way to better work with combinations for this as surely I am not the only person who sells items that can be customised and therefore shows as many items in stock form, but is actually only 1? Cheers for any help you can give.
  2. Hi all, I am using Prestashop 1.7.5.0 and have an issue over weights of items in my cart where if any individual or total weight of an item in a cart is over 100 grams it says there is no carrier available. I have 3x carriers: Large Letter >=1 < 100 @ £0.79 >= 100 < 250 @ £1.26 >= 250 < 500 @ £1.64 >= 500 < 750 @ £2.22 Small Package >= 1 < 2000 Medium Package >= 1 < 999 If for example I add 8x Trolley coins (12g each) it says the shipping is £0.79 so it has given the right amount. If I change it to 9x Trolley Coins, it says the shipping is free and when you checkout the order it says "Unfortunately, there are no carriers available for your delivery address." I have the same issue with a teddy bear that was specified as 125g and could only be shipped using "Medium Package", it came up with the same error. If I set the weight of the bear as 99g it works fine. If I add 2x bears to the cart, the error comes up. I don't understand as I set the maximum weight for the "Medium Package" to 999g, so why would it error? I have attached an image of the "Large Letter" carrier. Thank you very much for any help you can provide me. This is a shop run by a registered charity in the UK and currently having to manually send invoices through PayPal for this issue as it is causing us a lot of problems.
  3. Not that I know off. I too have disabled the option as rather my customers not see the function since it doesn't work.
  4. I am ONLINE!!! Yay For me it was both comments that other people put in here. The first was that the 'module' folder's permissions was on 777. I set it to 755 and tried a test order. The order went through further as did not get the mis configuration error, but did get another one but was presented in my shop site so I knew it wasn't a major issue. I tried to copy/paste my API setting in once more (done it soooo many times over the last few days) and hey presto it works fine! I then logged into PayPal as the shop admin and did a full refund which also worked. So, yes the 755 permissions for the 'module' folder AND re-copy/pasting the API settings sorted me out and I am a very happy chap. Thank you so much @marfisi for your first suggestion of doing this. I only speak English so didn't understand what you said, but now I know the answer, am sure this is what you were saying.

  6. Thanks @stickouk, would really like to know if/when they do contact you. They must have lost a lot of money in sales for this begin down. I am so surprised they haven't helped more to get it sorted.
  7. Nobody else being affected by this or know how we can fix it?
  8. Nobody got any update on this or how to fix the issue? I am tearing my hair out as I might have to leave PrestaShop and use another shop as I need to get online. Since I haven't even taken my first order, I am in a position to jump ship if I have to, but don't want to.
  9. I am just confused now. I read the guide that @Statuesque told us about (thank you for that), but am reading about the return URLs and am just confused with all the samples/examples and not sure what on earth I am supposed to use. Is the return path to my site or to Paypal or somebody else? Does anybody have any idea?
  10. I tried disabling the Modescurity and it didn't work for me sadly.
  11. I also am having the same error when I use the 'Log in with PayPal' option and the same error as you are getting when you try and pay with PayPal. Mine is a new shop, so this is the first test of it. I am using: PrestaShop 1.6.0.14 PayPal v3.8.4 - by PrestaShop Somebody has to know what has caused this and how to fix it. Please help! Thanks Alan
  12. I am also getting this error. I have just installed my Prestashop, so am on the latest version (1.6.0.14) and same goes for the PayPal (3.8.4) module. I get the error when I complete my basket and click on the 'Pay with PayPal' button. Please can somebody help.
  13. You star, you absolute star. What a noob I am. The reason was that the standard weights ar e in Kg, but most of my components are only 2-5 grams, so thought I would change the default Kg to g. I updated everything, but obviously not the maximum wait, so rather than being the original 0.75 Kg it changed to 0.75g. Doh! Thank you so much for your help.
  14. You are right, you are SOOOOOO right. I will update and check.
  15. Forgot to show this, but this is also the size restrictions for the carrier, which you can see if larger than the product size.
