Zdravím, poptávám někoho, kdo by mi zajistil funkční migraci živého e-shopu z verze 1.5.4.0 na 1.6.1.24. Nastavení v back-office (doprava, moduly, CMS) si zajistím sám, jde mi zejména o migraci kategorií (11 na 1. úrovni, 50 na 2. úrovni), produktů (342 ks), historie objednávek (14 000) a zákaznického portfolia. Dosud jsem si vše v Prestě řešil sám, takže se pokládám za pokročilého uživatele, ale na tohle nyní nemám čas a potřebuji to mít hotovo v blízké době. Did you manage to solve this issue somehow, FreshCommerce or anyone else? I'm getting frustrated... I migrated my 1.5.0.17 to 1.5.4 a year ago but obviously, this damn feature of 1.5.0.17 was passed on to the newer version as I used my original template.

Hello everybody, I'm facing an issue with Block Categories - I want to display more subcategories than just two, however, when I edit module settings in BO, the settings never really change, despite the "Settings updated" message. I thought I could edit the configuration of the module manually in the database, however, I couldn't find where its settings within the database are stored. Why can't the setting be changed via BO? Where can I find configuration for block categories module in the DB? I use PS 1.5.4. Thanks in advance for your suggestions. Ondrej

Thanks, haylau, for your reply. Of course, all caches have been cleared, I actually tested the issue on freshly installed Win 7 right now... Going through all the modules and other modifications made during the upgrade sounds like a real nightmare, but thank you for your suggestion! Any other thoughts, anyone?

Hello, This April I upgraded from 1.5.0.17 to 1.5.4. I performed all the upgrade using Mac OS and haven't used the Administration with Windows until now. On my Mac, everything in BO is functional; however, now my friend was about to start editing the product descriptions and orders in the Administration and we found out that many essential links don't work with Windows. Particularly in Product edit, none of the top buttons (Save, Back, Delete...) work and neither do the left column ones (Information, Prices, SEO...). The cursor shows that they are links, but after click, nothing happens. In Orders for example, one can change the order status but cannot add the tracking number - the link would give no response. I tried it with various browsers, Windows versions and computers. Before the upgrade, back office worked well both with Mac OS and with Windows. Front office is fully functional with both OS. Does anyone have a clue where could be the problem? I'm getting desperate... Thanks in advace! Ondrej

If I understand you well, my reality is different, anytime the .htaccess would be rewritten, friendly URLs would not work.

I replaced .htaccess problematic lines (new) with (original) and changed .htaccess writing rules to 400, is this an acceptable solution?

I tried to solve this (according to http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/2131[spam-filter]tip-15-and-custom-htaccess/ ) by adding the lines from the original (see above) to .htaccess before # ~~start~~ Do not remove this comment,.... to avoid overwriting it, however, after .htaccess regeneration, the lines from the new (see above) are automatically added to .htaccess as well and friendly url do not work again I would be so much happy for any ideas...

Hello, I read many stories about friendly url and mod_rewrite settings on the forum but this one is different. I could not find any similar which would help me solve my problem. I upgraded from 1.5.0.17 to 1.5.4. Everything finally worked well on local server, but online (HostMonster) the friendly URLs do not work. SEO&URL page in BO displays a warning that URL rewriting (mod_rewrite) is not active on your server or it is not possible to check your server configuration. And indeed, with friendly url on, no product images load and links give error 404. Friendly url off works fine. However, if I replace the .htaccess with the .htaccess from the backup of my original 1.5.0.17 (where friendly url worked), friendly url work, images load with their friendly names, links are fine as well. Therefore it is not the server issue. I expect that the problem is in the .htaccess file. If only the manually uploaded one was not replaced automatically, the problem would be probably fine. Yep, I also tried various combinations of this part of the code because I know the bracket problem mentioned in the bug ("$this->_path" should be in brackets) which I referred to in my 1st post. I even replaced this part of the code with the corresponding part from the most up-to-date module version. I did not even forget to adjust the part in function install ( ....|| !$this->registerHook('displayHeader') ). I am afraid that the problem is outside the php file My current php file is enclosed (one of the variations). homefeatured.php
