IX Web Hosting Pas vraiment recommandé depuis les incidents de ces derniers mois mais les choses s'étaient améliorées ces derniers temps... jusqu'à aujourd'hui !

Bonjour J'ai reçu ce matin un message de mon hébergeur me signifiant que mon site serait bloqué tant que je n'aurais pas résolu un problème de surcharge au niveau des requêtes. Etant donné que je n'ai habituellement pas plus de 100 visites par jour, je ne vois pas bien de quoi ils parlent mais ils ne veulent rien entendre et refusent de remettre mon site en ligne tant que je ne leur aurai pas décrit les étapes que je compte mettre en oeuvre pour régler ce problème. Mes connaissances en informatique sont plus que limitées donc merci pour votre aide ! En période de fêtes, un e-commerce qui ne fonctionne pas, c'est pas top :s Et même si je suis décidée à changer d'hébergeur, je ne peux rien faire tant que je n'ai pas accès à ma base de données...

You're welcome ... I'm pretty new to Prestashop and really love it. What I particularly like also is the strong community behind it, so when I get a chance to bring my 2 cents, I'm glad to do so. FYI, the Prestashop team apparently has integrated the fix in the SVN version. I guess this means it should be part of the next release. Cheers

Hi all, If you have annoying SSL warnings on your website, they are probably caused by Google Analytics v1.2. Since the code of google has been updated to support SSL, I though it was worth a shot to update the code of the module. So here it is, just replace the existing .php file with the one attached (and do a backup of the original in case something goes wrong of course ;-) Please do not rely on my fix untill the prestashop team approves this modif and officially integrates it into prestashop. Please note that the fix came straight from Google (see http://www.google.com/support/googleanalytics/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=55483), I've only adapted the code from the module. Salut, J'ai ajouté les valeurs suivantes dans mon fichier config.inc.php ... @ini_set('upload_max_filesize', '400M'); @ini_set('php_value post_max_size', '200M'); @ini_set('php_value max_execution_time', '6000'); @ini_set('php_value max_input_time', '6000'); @ini_set('php_value memory_limit', '400M'); @ini_set('default_charset', 'utf-8'); J'ai un article avec 1200 déclinaisons qui suite à cet ajout s'affiche parfaitement bien dans IE8, mais par contre impossible de l'afficher avec Google Chrome et Firefox. Est-ce normal ? J'ai du mal à croire que IE8 puisse être meilleur que Chrome et Firefox ... Avez-vous également remarquer ce problème ? Merci

Hi, I got my prestashop to be successfully installed with ixwebhosting. My problem was caused by the fact that I had a "Windows" hosting plan. I purchased an additional "Linux" hosting plan and it worked just fine right out of the box. Hope this helps.
