  1. After playing around for a while, I turned off Smart Cache for JavaScript and it started working.
  2. Using Prestatshop 1.6.0.9 I have created new attributes before and added values to them with no problems, but suddenly today I created a new attribute, yet when I go to add values to it, the attribute does not appear in the drop-down list. The weird thing? I have a locally hosted test version which is an exact copy of the live site, and I CAN add values to the attribute there, ie the new attribute appears in the drop down. Why can I do it in one version but not the other? I have cleared the cache, browser cache, logged out and in. I can't make sense of this. Does anyone have any ideas?
  3. I just came here to look for an answer to the same question. Also Prestashop 1.6.0.9.
  4. That's another problem I ran into after I posted. My changes to what's enabled in the Back Office aren't saving. So I can try to disable Express Checkout, but it stays enabled. And I can try to disable standard and use only Express, and THAT stays enabled after saving! So I'm stuck with both enabled.
  5. I'm having the same problems as the OP, and it's delaying our site launch. Why has this been going on for MONTHS with no fix to a critical module?! I also really need to be able to change the checkout button image as we do not use PayPal for credit card payments.
  6. My checkout page is currently displaying two PayPal logos, both with links, as shown in the attached screenshot. How do I fix this? Also, how would we change the image displayed? We are not using PayPal to handle our credit cards, so the image with credit card logos on it could be confusing to our customers. Using Prestashop 1.6.0.9 with the default-bootstrap theme, and the PayPal USA/Canada module.
  7. Thanks to thepan's generous help, we figured out that using attributes was not working, but using features does work. So in my case, I created a feature called "Multiple Purchase Discount" and assigned the following values to it, as suits our products: "Buy 2 for $10," "Buy 4 for $10," etc. Then I set up a catalog rule for each value and set each one to look for that specific feature. Then, on the appropriate products, I assign them to them the proper feature. Now, when a customer selects the proper number of that item, the price in the cart drops automatically. Hopefully this will help someone else that's having trouble!
  8. I hate to bump this, but is there any additional information I can provide that will enable someone to help me? One reason my business picked Prestashop is the feature to let customers buy x products for y price, but I'm just not able to get it to work and all documentation has failed me.
  9. I'm sorry, I'm not very good with JS which is one reason why I put mine in the contact nav bar, so there wouldn't be any conflicts. Hopefully someone with more JS knowledge can help you!
  10. I still can't get this to work. I have a feeling some other setting is interfering, but I just can't figure out what it is!
  11. I copied the contents of the file themes/[yourtheme]/modules/blocksearch/blocksearch-top.tpl into themes/[yourtheme]modules/blockcontact/nav.tpl and tweaked the css to make it fit. That moved the search box up next to the sign in button on the default-bootstrap theme. I don't see why it wouldn't work to paste it into themes/[yourtheme]/modules/blocktopmenu/blocktopmenu.tpl if you want it in the same bar as your home button.
  12. I followed your steps and it is still not working for me, but at least I know it's set up right if it's working for you, and hopefully I can figure out what's causing the problem on my end. Thank you for your help!
  13. I have gone over all of the available documentation for the Cart Rules and I believe I have set this up correctly, but since it doesn't work, I must have made a mistake somewhere. Can anyone locate where I have gone wrong? I am setting up a rule to automatically drop the price when someone buys 5 of an item. I have set up a custom attribute and applied it to the item, and set up the rule to apply when someone buys 5 of the item tagged with that attribute. But as you can see in my included screenshots, when 5 are added to the cart, the price does not drop. Please let me know if I am not being clear enough.
  14. Thank you! I actually just copied the relevant part relating to instagram from the original .tpl into my theme's .tpl, and it's working. Now I just have to figure out how to get it to be an icon like the rest instead of just text. I think I might be able to handle that, though.
  15. You are correct, my theme does not have Instagram in the .tpl file. However, I am not sure what to replace it with, since this is the default theme. I also looked under the modules directory outside of themes and that .tpl does not include an Instagram link either! So how am I seeing a file field in my back office for Instagram? Thanks so much for your help!
