Hi, We´re running a client´s PS 1.6.1.4 shop and now we have a situation that is strangely not working as expected. We have an order that´s in pending paypal payment status, and we would like to delete one of the products in the order. We click on drop-down arrow on the Edit button, select Delete, but it does nothing. The product stays there. So we tried changing the quantity to zero. That´s not accepted. However, 1 is accepted. So we did that. That´s all we can do. How do we go about deleting this? Also, we noticed that the stock didn´t get updated once we changed the quantity on the order. It stays the same... Thanks for your help. Best regards, Hernán

Hi Geoff. I do have avast, but that´s not the reason. I disabled it and still the problem persisted... You can see the site here: http://www.gauswheel.es/es/ What I was able to figure out was that the first error was because I was using a facebook user url address instead of a page address. Although they look the same (the urls) it seems they have a different behaviour with this module. Having said that, I created www.facebook.com/espanagauswheel and that worked on the admin side. I can see the likes there. But it doesn´t work on the frontpage. Any ideas?

Hi, I have the same problem with version 1.606 and did all you say here but the problem persists. I even edited the file blockfacebook.php and added my facebook user there, replacing prestashop and still wouldn´t work. However, if I change the facebook user to https://www.facebook.com/prestashop it runs smoothly... So my guess is that there is some cross commands that are making this not work... Any ideas?

Thanks for your quick response, Mr. Bean_S! I kind of discovered what´s wrong, although I ignore how to effectively fix it. What the system is doing is charging the largest rate available for the zone, as if the shipment weight exceeded the maximum weight possible. But this is clearly not true. If I buy one product with the mentioned dimensions 10x10x10 centimeters and a weight of 0.50 kg, it charges the maximum rate allowed (over 900 kilos). But if I order 16 pieces of this same item, it charges the right rate... It looks like a cache mem issue. However, I don´t see how a client could avoid it on the front end. That´s how we learnt about this problem. The client told us. Please help!

Hi all, I have a problem with the shipping charges. I have a product with the following dimensions: 10 cm x 10 cm x 10 cm Weight: 0,5 kg. If I purchase 1 on my site, the shipping charge is ok, 6€ (or so). But if I purchase 10 I get a shipping charge of 116€! I checked all the rates and carriers and everything looks ok. What the system is doing is charging the largest rate available for the zone, as if the shipment weight exceeded the maximum weight possible. But this is clearly not true. Currently, I have the local settings of Spain. That is, my products are in Kilos and Centimeters. Is it possible that I should need to put everything in METERS, instead of centimeters? Strangely enough, last week I had a similar issue with a product and then, all of the sudden, shipping charges went back to normal... Without doing anything. Has anybody experienced this? My install is 1.473. What I also would like to know is how dimensional weight is applied and how does the system tell if a shipper is for air, sea or ground, since I understand that the way dimensional weight is calculated for each way is different and could throw different equivalences.

Problemas con Prestashop Boutique Theme BX1157
hernanlr replied to Lovely Rita Shop's topic in Discusión general
[SOLVED] Imerial Pounds lb to Kilograms kg
hernanlr replied to davidking's topic in Configuring and using PrestaShop
Hi Mike, I have one store in Spain with decimal information (size and weight). Now I´m replicating it to a US store, in Pounds and Inches. Is there an automatic way to convert all products measures details to the Bristish system? Thanks! -
Hi, I´m almost ready to launch a new prestashop site for a client in Miami, Florida (USA) but I stumbled upon a BIG ISSUE with the county taxes. I´m using prestashop 1.4.7.3, which was the stable version when I started the site. That is, I´m not going to change to a newer version until the whole project is finished, since we have already purchased several custom modules. First problem: The shopping cart doesn´t take the county tax into the sum. I have created all 67+ counties, each with its surtax rate, and then added the condition to the FL tax rule, that the state should charge 6% only, and each county should charge "both taxes" and selected the county tax beside. Also, I set all products to be taxed at the state rate of 6%. So, the first thing we need to solve is the county tax to be included (and segregated in the invoice, if possible. Otherwise, just added to the total % for taxes, as required by US laws). The second problem is that the "Discretionary Tax" appliest to a maximum of u$D5000 per order. That is, if you purchase more than this, you´ll only pay county tax on the first 5000 dollars. After that, you only pay state tax (this is in Florida). So this condition must also be added to the sum. PLEASE I NEED HELP URGENTLY! THANKS!

Florida Tax Rules Help
hernanlr replied to dixielandmonogram's topic in Configuring and using PrestaShop
Hi. I tried different ways, but still, the county tax doesn´t appear. Right now I have only 1 tax rule for FLorida, where I added all county taxes where applicable, and set the tax first line (State only) and each additional county where there is a surtax I selected "both taxes". Also, all products on the catalog were set to be affected by FL tax. Still, no county tax gets added. Only the 6%. Anybody knows how to fix this? -
I have created the whole list of counties for FL. Added all zip codes to each county Created a county tax of 1.00 for Miami-Dade Created a tax rule for Miami-Dade, where Florida would tax 6% and both taxes, and ONLY Miami-Dade (out of all the list of counties) would also charge both taxes. Then, I made a purchase with a delivery address in 33131 (which I double checked and it´s assigned correctly to Miami-Dade county. Still, my check out tax is only 6%. Any idea on what could be the problem? Thanks for your help!
