I imported image external url to local Prestashop with CSV and the image shows well. Before I imigrant my local prstashop to Godaddy hosting, I exported the local database into SQL file with PhpMyAdmin. I followd the guide provided by the BO of prestashop and did backup my database. After I moved to Godaddy I found the images do not show. I searched the possible cause and solution in google and in this forum. I got two posts which are related to my problem. 1) import products phase - create images on the server using external URL image links 2) problem with DB But I still have no way to fix the problem. I did regenerate thumbnails in BO according to a post in internet. But it does not work with the problem. How to fix it? who have experienced the problem? my domain is www.speare.cc Thanks a lot.

I encounter the same problem with version 1.4.7.0 when I import csv file. how to fix it ?

I am quite confused with the concepts of HOOK. There are php scripts, hook names with hook id, modules and smarty tpl files. I noticed one hook name can hook several modules and one module can be hooked with several hook names. And hook name can be inserted in any place of a tpl file. Who can tell the relations of above 4 concepts in simple words? Thank you for guide.

I ask a basic question. Can I think each of Prestashop module is a class which is extended from a parent class named ObjectModel? Maybe it is a silly question. I am too new to ask a proper question. I just want to clarify some questions in my mind after I read some of this post. Actually I don't know what is ObjectModel and how to get the definition of it in PHP manual. Thanks for help.

Mike, I modified the code according to the post you mentioned. It works well when I do not import csv file of combination. But when I imported csv file of combination, open the product page , only Reference is displayed. Manufacturer and Supplier_reference dispeared. How to fix it? Thanks,
