How it isn't a prestashop problem. What is the point of Google Sitemap module if i cant use it with google? I would understand if it would be named just xml sitemap module. I would pay for it if you complete this module

Hello, I have a problem with sitemap generator. I have over 50 000 links in it, but google only accepts xml site map files that have 50 000 or less. Can anyone please change default google sitemap generator so it would make a second file when it reaches 50 000 links or maybe some one can give me a link to module that would to it. I found another problem with prestashop. When I change minimum word length to 5 then when person searches 4 letter word it find no results. Prestashop should warn people that minimum search word length is 5 or what ever set in backend. Because you can lose many customers that way. Also it should be on system requirements that prestashop requires private server if you have more that *** categories and products. We have spend more that 600€ on prestashop and it is slower than our last platform. If I had know that search dosent work then I would have not spend months on going from virtuemart to prestashop and spending that much money on it. Any way I don't recommend prestashop do large online shops because it is unusable! Virtuemart search with 40 000 products took only 4-5 seconds.

Maybe the problem is in server. I have 70 000 products and 8000 categories. Database is about 1gb. Search index table is 550mb. Right now I have VPS with 2 cores and 2gb of ram. I hoped i can first sort this out before i have to start paying 120€/month more only because of search is slow. Website itself is blazing fast.

Hello, I have a big problem with search. For some word it takes few minutes to finish searching. Hello, I want to upgrade to Prestashop 1.5.1, but new version with same or little bit less information loads so much slower. My old site with 1.4.9 loads category with products in 3-5 seconds. Prestashop 1.5.1 loads 20+ seconds. Is there something broken? It is new install and used import for all the products. Or Prestashop 1.5.1 is just to new and dosent work yet? PS. I am using VPS server Virtual private server. EDIT: I disabled all menus now its is down to 5 seconds. So "Top horizontal menu" is broken.

problem SOLVED

OK I discovered the reason. It was because in the database at ps_compare_product had 3 entries. I deleted them but now for some reason I can't compare products even when i select them. Any help? Can anyone tell me where is the code that must remove these entries from database. Because when I click on the products that I want to compare but then wont compare them and go to another category it wont remove these entries from database. Only when I deselect the products that i had previously selected are databse entries removed.
