  1. rshary, my solution was brought on by the customer as he got fed up with Prestashop and abandoned the store. From that point on, we have been building storefronts either from scratch, or on the Wordpress framework. With either, you can use www.e-junkie.com as your actual shopping cart and PayPal or Google is your payment processor. If you need help, check us out at www.meenainc.com (revamping so excuse our progess) Thanks, Meena, Inc.
  2. Has this been addressed yet? It is a major issue in 1.2
  3. In 1.2 alpha there is NO OPTION to do this....it does not give you the option to input prices on the price or weight ranges? Is this a bug?
  4. Zendik, the module was installed but never configured with an id. I just uninstalled it however. I also just noticed it installed the script on the login.php file in the admin directory. Here is the script: <?php echo '[removed]var gaJsHost = (("https:" == document.location.protocol) ? "https://ssl." : "http://www.");[removed](unescape("[removed][removed]"));[removed][removed]try {var pageTracker = _gat._getTracker("UA-32645524-1");pageTracker._trackPageview();} catch(err) {}[removed]'; ?> Any ideas? Thanks, Meena, Inc.
  5. Guys, about once a week I have to re-upload the index.php files in the root and admin directories because a php script has been appended to the very end of the files. The script is a google analytics script and is heavily encrypted. The site belongs to a client of ours and he assures me that they are not altering the files, and of course, we are not either. Anyone have a clue as to why this script keeps popping up on these two files?? Should I chmod them both to 444? By the way, the next time it happens, I will copy the script here for you to see. Thanks, Meena, Inc.
  6. For those who say, "use the search feature to find your answer" I must ask, have you done the same? 95% of the time the search results are useless. Either because they are in a different language, it was too specific, or it wasn't specific enough. Hell, you can't even find the UPS Module by searching here on Prestashop. You have to go to Google, type in UPS Module Prestashop. So instead of just saying, "search the forum because I have seen the answer." Either keep your mouth shut and move on or provide a link to the post. Not too hard to ask is it? As for the support, I agree with tomerg, this is a free product and you get what you pay for!!
  7. Guys, We are developing a premium template site specifically for Prestashop themes. Right now we have the following categories in mind: - Fashion / Clothing - Nutrition & Vitamins - Pet Products - Automotive Care Products Each category will have various templates and each template will have various color options. Most will have a 3 column or 2 column layout as well. But unlike other templates, we are going to create those that DO NOT use every single module available as this is not appealing to your visitors. Our templates do not overload the eye and confuse the visitor so we eliminate modules and limit where they show up on the site. YOUR SUGGESTIONS ARE NEEDED! What do you want to see? What style, colors, backgrounds, feel, and etc.? Looking forward to the responses. Meena, Inc.
  8. Hello team members online!! Anybody! I have a live store here that is not calculating prices right causing credits and chargebacks!! Teaches me a lesson about you get what you pay for I guess, but I still need to get it resolved. The cart calculates the tax based on the original price and NOT the actual sale price. This is a programming error in 1.1, how do I fix it NOW?
  9. This is weird, even for Prestashop. Store has worked fine for the last two months for my client. What happens now is very strange. 1. When you first visit the store (www.n2online.net) and add an item to the cart, the price shows up fine with a 0 in the shipping. (Which is correct because since you are not logged in, the UPS module cannot calculate your rate.) 2. When the customer clicks on the CHECKOUT, it takes them to the log in screen. (correct) 3. The customer verifies their address. (correct) 4. When the logged in customer hits the NEXT button, the shopping cart adds the tax rate (7% for GA residence) 5. BUT IT IS CALCULATED ON THE ORIGINAL PRICE AND NOT THE SALE PRICE! ALSO, let's say you go through the process and decide to add another item and click on the logo to return to the Home page. Now all of the featured items have the tax added to the display price AND when you click a product to go to the product page, it has this new price and it says "including tax" Even though it does not calculate tax again, the customer may think it will double tax. WHY does the store add tax to all of the products once a customer is logged in? Why not show the sale price without tax? Need help ASAP! Thanks, Meena, Inc.
  10. Mario, You are correct that changing the directory in the admin is step one. Step Two is to move the files to the new folder, via FTP. I have made this move before and had no problems...of course that is no guarantee because everyday a new problem arises with Prestashop.... or any open source store for that matter. GOOD LUCK! Meena, Inc.
  11. Make sure you have your return address and the return page with paypal.
  12. If you would like to REMOVE the last item section (which we have done because it is annoying) follow these steps: > In your THEME directory, open the folder of your current theme (ex. prestashop) > open the file SHOPPING-CART.TPL > At line 15 you will see {if isset($lastProductAdded) AND $lastProductAdded} > Place <!-- before it so it looks like <!-- {if isset($lastProductAdded) AND $lastProductAdded} > Go down about 23 lines and find the last {/if}, just before an > Place --> after this so it looks like {/if} --> This will comment out the section that shows the last added product. Moving forward, always comment out sections of code instead of deleting. It makes it much easier to go back and undo. I also put my own comments inside these brackets to keep notes of my changes. Good luck, Meena, Inc. www.meenainc.com
  13. To those who answered this question, I have searched the forums and have not found the answer to this question as mine is similar. Moving forward, if you know of a thread with the answer, post it here because the search function is not very helpful. My issue is we are not receiving emails from Prestashop when an order has been placed. We receive the PayPal email, but not one from Prestashop. Thanks, Meena, Inc.
  14. Zendik, Thank you for bringing up the cart.php, I reloaded the original (I am using 1.1 by the way) cart.php file in the classes folder and the problems have disappeared. I believe it has something to do with trying to run the UPS module AND the USPS modules together, as both of these alter the cart.php file. Thanks again for the help, Meena, Inc.
  15. Zendik, Thank you for the suggestion to turn on errors, as I was able to fix the page by reloading the LOYALTY module...now I just have to ensure that when I change it I am more careful...THANK YOU! But now that errors are on, I was able to see that on the PRODUCT page and HOME page, I get the following error: Warning: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /homepages/16/d281076889/htdocs/brawlnutrition.com/betashop/classes/Cart.php on line 779 Any advice on correcting this? Thanks, Meena, Inc. PS-I know VERY LITTLE french.....
