  1. I'm getting Permission Violation on trying to access the page for Guest Checkout Redesign as well.
  2. When I joined these forums early last year, PS was fairly good with this stuff, actually....at trying to fix things, etc. I suspect that 1.5 has grown into a monster bigger than anyone on the team anticipated, and is soaking up a lot of their time and energy.
  3. I am not so sure. Can someone (maybe Michael Marinetti himself) confirm this?
  4. WP have an interesting approach: http://wordpress.org/about/roadmap/
  5. I say don't package jQuery at all. Use Google's libraries http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSFV-101
  6. Isbjorn: First of all, I don't have the definitive answer. Only PS developers would be able to provide that. My feeling is that since it's the 4th Beta, so it's probably not a terrible idea to start developing. I don't know if you'll be able to use autoupgrade to go from Beta to RC, but I suspect that you won't be able to. Even so, you could always manually upgrade when RC is released.
  7. Yes, you can use autoupgrade from 1.5.x RC to 1.5.x Stable. That being said, to all others wondering, Autoupgrade is for stable versions only. You can not upgrade from 1.4.x stable to 1.5.x Beta

  9. Yes! Lots of changes http://www.prestashop.com/forums/index.php?/topic/162154-prestashop-15-beta-4-available/page__view__findpost__p__795067
  10. Dude, in how many different ways can Carl say 2 months? Further, account for the project management adage, and add 50% to it, and we *should* have an RC in about 3 months time. Of course, this is based on current information. The date has been moved several times in the past (originally was Sep 2011) and can move again.
  11. If you want detailed analysis, use YSlow or PageSpeed. In general, the good folks above have identified and pinpointed the big issues. Another thing worth considering is where you are hosted. If your site's target audience is in India but your datacenter is in Chicago, that may delay some as well...
