Sorry for the delay in replying. Many thanks to those that replied. Sadly after 6 years, due to the problems with Presatshop since I upgraded from 1.4, (the worse move I have ever made with my store), I have decided to close my Prestashop store and move to Woo commerce. When I started it was 1.3 and a great platform. Sadly now it seems it is not for non computer types like myself. I am sorry to leave but like everybody else I want to make money with my site and not keep spending huge amounts to resolve issues created by expensive modules that do not work correctly and bugs that seem to create more problems all the time. On top of that Prestashop, since its merge has done nothing to help resolve issues. I hope all goes well for everybody and thanks you for the support I was show. Barry

I tried to upgrade to the latest version of prestashop but a usual it created too many issues . I then rolled back to version 1.6.0.9 and now cannot get images on my homepage. The images are okay in the product pages and category pages but nothing on Homepage. Please can anybody help. www.homesteadandgarden.co.uk

Hi all I am unable to grade modules in my bo as the link to sign into prestashop addons does not work. When you click the upgrade modules button it says all have been updated but when you scroll down to the modules they show as still needing an upgrade. Please can anybody tell me how I can create the link so as I can upgrade modules.

Sorry to add to this thread but unable to add a new post. when i click on add post it takes me to the cloud?? Anyway my question on this thread is I want to remove the sign in tab and all its links but cannot find where do to it in the BO or Files. Please can somebody point me in the right direction. I am using 1.6.9 and Bootstrap theme. many thanks

I have created a website using 1.6.9 and the bootstrap theme. I have been able to cut and paste info from my other site and microsoft word. However regardless of the size of text used in the original, when you paste in the BO it has a mind of its own. I am left with a range of sizes which could be a little bigger. Is there anywhere in the files that would alter the size of text and make it all the same so as to make the presentation better. Hopefully there is somebody out there who could help. many thanks Barry

Thanks to Peter from One Page Checkout for his help. It was my error as I did not realise you had to change the country in the checkout to see the correct carrier for that location. I thought you would see all carrier options when you entered your products into the cart.

I am using Presatshop 1.6.9 in 2 shops and have the same problem in both. We have been selling only in UK until recently but have expanded our business to Europe. The problem is that we can only get the UK carrier to show in checkout. The European carrier will not appear. We do use OPC but have disabled this and tried other checkouts and the issue still the same. Any body any ideas please. Jane rustedplantsupports.co.uk

Hi all We are not getting a confirmation email to tell us of a new order. The only way I know is when PayPal sends a payment notification email. I am using PHP as my mail server. I did read somewhere that maybe switching to SMTP server may solve but unsure if that is correct and what other consequences may be. I do receive test emails so know that there is a link to our email. Please can anybody tell me where in the 1.6 BO is the right place to set up emails for orders. I cannot find that at all in this version. Jane

I currently have a shop using 1.4.11 and due to it being non responsive and some modules I would like to use not being compatible with this version, I am thinking of upgrading to 1.6. I know my current template will not work on 1.6 so will need to change that as well. Is it better to try to upgrade to 1.6 and change the theme or would it be advisable to start again with a clean version of 1.6 and new theme, then try and use my existing products and customer data bases. Your advise gratefully received on this one please. Barry
