Hi there, I had PS 1.7.0.5 with this error. Upgraded to 1.7.1.2 and still the message remains "Unable to update settings" Does anyone has a solution on this? Thank you.

We have found the solution: had to change the server PHP version from 5.6 to another (5.4 or 5.5 or 7). We selected the PHP version 7, and now it works.

I also have a problem with Layered Navigation module. The shop I am working on uses the 1.6.1.5 Prestashop version, and it has over 6000 product features. When I click on Layered Navigation filter, everything freezes and endless loading icon appears, like you can see below: http://screencast.com/t/wimcOIlTHQ Do you have any idea why is this happening, and how can we fix it? PS: the shop will have 40 or 50.000 products, wen it will be completed.

Hi again, I need this feature To have a extra category display page where IF I select a parent category to show a new page with a grid with first 2 levels of its child subcategories grouped by first level of subcategory Is anyone aware of such a addon? Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thank you

I have searched the web and didn't found a solution on prestashop about this feature. I have to assign same subcategory to multiple parent categories. The reason is that I have a spare parts shop where the name of the categories uses same codes for different models of cars. I have seen that opencart and few other solutions permits this. Why prestashop doesn't have such a feature? Is anyone aware of such addon? Any suggestion would be mch appreciated. Thank you.

Hi, I have developed a shop for one of my customer ..on my server.... I have moved the shop to another server.....but now the descrition images are not showing.... i looked in Product details in back office....All my images has links from my development server... Please help with an advice, how can I update those links? Thank you.

Hi vekia, Please tell me how can I use responsive images in "Details" of the product. I have a project where the customer used images inside Product details section and on mobile devices those images are not responsive... I have to use the same method with css?? I dont' want to disappear those images on mobile. i want them to resize... Thank you.

I have solved this. How? I have copied the html files to /mails via ftp...I don't know the reason but when I have entered the html code from bacl office....was ok... thx.

Hi, I'm using prestashop 1.5.6.2 and I have played in backoffice with Advance Parameters->Email ---I have switched between : Use PHP mail() function. Recommended; works in most cases and Set my own SMTP parameters. For advanced users ONLY and back...now is setup to USE PHP mail() Now some of emails are sent empty...For example "Forgor password" is sent empty. I have checked the password_query.html in /mails folder (it has text and html code).... Please anybody..help...!!! Thank you

Hi, I cannot disable HTML purifier... I click disable-> Save....When I navigate to other menu in BO and then comeback to Preferences->General the HTML Purifier is still activated. I have tried in Firefox, Chrome, different hosting providers.....same result... please help...
