Hi I Just got my shop up last couple of days and was checking to see if google was indexing any pages by using site:www.geowines.co.uk The following results (see attached). The content snippet for "add to basket" show same for a couple of the results links. Could this cause a duplicate content problem with google. Is there anyway of not showing these. I have friendly url turn on in the shop but the category and subcategories are not showing the friendly url in address bar like the products pages are. Is there something i should be turning on for this. I have modified the .htaccess to try see if this is what is causing the problem, but I am unsure what to do. Can anyone help me on this please htaccess.txt

Michaeld - sorry to just in like this - i have a question on this topic. I used your htaccess script and it works great thanks for sharing. Is there anyway to not have the address bar show the /folder when search has been done. At the moment my shop is in a folder called /shop. When i type mywebsite.com into the address bar. It shows mywebsite.com/shop/index.php also happens when typing www.mywedsite.com The other thing is canonical where the url always shows either www.mywebsite.com or mywebsite.com I think this solution would be helpful for everyone along with your method above.

I have done the following inside the global.css file and things are looking a lot better. global.css I wanted a fancy shadow around the content and used the following code: #columns { border: 1px solid #999999; -moz-box-shadow: 3px 3px 4px #999999; -webkit-box-shadow: 3px 3px 4px #999999; box-shadow: 3px 3px 4px #999999; /* For IE 8 */ -ms-filter: "progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Shadow(Strength=4, Direction=135, Color='#999999')"; /* For IE 5.5 - 7 */ filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Shadow(Strength=4, Direction=135, Color='#999999'); } I have commented out the code for the IE8 and IE5.5 -7 and got the following results as shown in the images Do you still think their may be a closing div missing or could this have been the problem, please see attached images. I am still not able to stop the menu hiding behind the content in IE7- so i will have a look for a missing div to see if this sorts it out. Also the search input box is way bigger than the rest of the input fields in IE8 any comments and help most appreciated.

Hi Problems with IE display. I have sorted one of the problems in all browsers when the cart was showing on the left side near the bottom. I added an exception in the positions>transplant a module for the cart block. I added index.php and now it does not show. My shop is here at geowines.co.uk/shop Need some help with the following if possible. please see attached I am having a display problem with IE8 the whole display is set to the left side of the browser. In IE 7 everything looking nearly good except for the menu is covered. Can anyone help me where to look.

Hi I would like to re-create this effect when a customer does a product search: Customer lands on the search page showing all products in that search - this i can do Customer is shown product image and description and price - this i can do Customer can select whether to buy a single product or a box of 6 products (preferable by radio button selection) please see attached image. At the moment the search result page is showing the price of individual product only. I have set up combination etc. When the customer clicks on the image and is taken to product page - the choice is shown there using a drop down. Is there any way to show the drop down (combo) on each of the product is the search page if i can't get it to do radio button. Idea solution i would like to achieve with you help: please see image attached
