  1. I used the Disabled Products sort button to see all my disabled products, I have 4 of them (see image),NOw I can't get back to my list of all my 150 products. I tried: Going back to the main menu Catalog > Products - no luck Clearing cache - no luck refreshing the products list - no luck. There does not seem to be an obvious way to view the entire list again - please someone help me.
  2. mdekker - thank you for this. One quick question, well two: one: how do you adjust the map pan, for example mine is zoomed in as far as it can be, for the default I'd like it a little panned out to see more of the roads around my location. two: my map icon is the prestashop penguin, can that be changed? thank you for your help on this,
  3. I am beating my head on my desk over this feature. I have PS 1.6.1 Is there a way to disable this? I have over 800 logs from me configuring, logging in and out, and adding products. I see the small trash can but to just disable this once and for all would be nice. I tried to search before I posted this topic but all I am finding is posts about ERROR logs - nothing about the advanced parameters / logs Does anyone know how to just shut it off? this is a complete waste of DB space and one less thing to manage if I could just turn off. I have PS 1.6.1 Thanks in advance and Happy New Year!!!!
  4. I am using PS 1.6 - I see in the Stats area that I can see current visitors online (within 30 minutes) but I want to see IP address from yesterday? Am I just not seeing it or do I need to purchase a special module? Seems like if I can see current IP address, there should be a visitor IP address history somewhere in the stats? Can anyone point me to the location if there are stored somewhere? Thanks for your help!
  5. This is an older post BUT I just wanted to comment that it is pretty silly that this image cannot be toggled on and off like v1.5. I have one shop in 1.5 and my new shop on 1.6 Back in the good old days in 1.5, when the main category image was deleted, it removed the image AND the space for it. This feature was actaully made harder now. Weird...
  6. Ok, I finally had the guts to look at my database and figure out where these fields might be and it appears that these fields are not there at all. Is that possible? I have no idea how to fix it. Makes my head ache.
  7. I do not use multistore. I have never looked at let alone alter a database, like ever. That is a scary place for me, very unfamiliar. I will take a peek and see what I can find out. I like to learn things so sometimes completely messing things up is a great learning tool. LOL (wish me luck)
  8. I have 3 things in the back office that when I change the setting and click save, the setting does not really save: 1. Prefrences > Products > Catalog mode - the default is "NO", when I try to change to "Yes" and click save, it tells me "The settings have been updated successfully." but after I go to a different screen and come back, the setting is really not saved and there is no change. 2. Prefrences > Orders > Order process type - cannot save to "one-page checkout" 3. Prefrences > Orders > Enable guest checkout - cannot save to "yes" I have PS V1.5.5 ... any ideas why I can't save/change these settings.
  9. Appreciate the response but I would not even know were to begin. People like me use Prestashop because we are not developers and should not be anywhere near the database. Maybe the powers that be at Prestashop will see this - things are messy this way, EVERYTHING should sort alphabetical as a default, how do you keep track and find anything if it's not filed in a logical way. Prestahop RULES however this is dumb.
  10. I upgraded from 1.3 to 1.5.5 and I have added two categories after the upgrade and they are in alphabetical order in the front office, BUT in the back office they were just added to the end of the alphabetical list. is there a way to make new categories sort alphabetical? Look at the image so you know exactly what I am talking about. My "categories block" is set to "sort by name" and in ascending order. And in the BO under Categories > Catalog > View...that is sorted by name. How do I get my two new categories to properly file themselves into my previous categories alphabetically?
  11. I think I have the same problem... I cannot sort my categories alphabetically in the back office - see image. I upgraded from 1.3 to 1.5 and my two new categories were just added to the end of the previously alphabetical list. Front office is fine. Any suggestions?
  12. I know this post is a tad old but I figured I'd post the solution. I do this all the time...add or change a product and somehow not associate it with a category and a rouge product is out in Prestashop space. In the back office, put a few keywords of your missing-in-action product and the Back Office search box WILL find it, then you edit it and add the appropriate category. Finally, something simple right?
  13. I don't know if my situation is the same. I can sort my Front Office Categories but not the Back Office. Look at my image. I added two categories and they were just added to the end of the list OUT of alphabetical order. These are my fist two categories added since my upgrade from 1.3 to 1.5.5 Is it operator error? I have cleared my cache and did a crtl-f5 and still nothing. It's not a big deal but would be nice to have them in order, as time goes on this will be messy this way.
  14. I am already getting massive stats from inserting the google code to my footer in matter of days - thanks jez!
