  1. Hi everyone I just started using product packs but noticed that I have to insert the quantity available for the pack. My question is - if I do put a qty for the pack, does Prestashop know how to manage the quantities of individual items? For example, Pack comprises of product A, PRoduct B and Product C. There are 3 units of each product. So when I sell a pack, does prestashop know how to minus a unit of each of the products from the inventory count and automatically make the quantities available for these individual items to be 2 units each since 1 of each has already been sold. Thank you
  2. Hi there I'm currently using Prestashop 1.5.3.1. There is one part of cart rules that doesn't work for me. This is the part where I would like the discount to be applied only to the product. I've tried setting the rule (under the actions tab) to have $5 off a specific product only if the product is added to the cart but that doesn't work. I've also tried setting the rule (under the conditions tab) to apply the rule only when that particular product is added but that doesn't work either. Any suggestions? I've done a test and the voucher works even if the product specified is not in the cart. Thank you
  3. Hi there Does anyone know how I can allow customers the ability to shop by gender and by age? Right now, on my website - www.summerlane.com.au - if you head to toys and click on it, the customer is able to filter by brands, categories and price. It's also showing colours (which I don't want it to). But I would like to include gender and age. However, gender and age should not be attributes because they are not really attributes. ATtached are 2 screenshots of what i would like the website to do. If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate that. Thank you
  4. Thank you so much for your reply. That really helps. I'll get the community to review my store
  5. Hi there I'm trying to understand how abandon cart works on Prestashop. At the moment, my website allows shoppers to add products to their cart without registering their details. Unfortunately, when I go to the backend of my website, I see plenty of products added to carts but no customer details. Question 1: Is there a way that I can minimise this? For example, is there a way where I can get the customer details so that I can follow up? Question 2: How does cart abandonment work? Does it work when customers add items to their cart but not fill in their details? Or does it work where they fill in their details but not proceed to checkout? Question 3: Does Prestashop allow the registration of customer details but not allocate the customer to a cart? Thank you Jessie
  6. Hi everyone I'm just wondering how do I go about setting up my webstore if I want the following: 1. I want only certain items to be available to be shipped internationally 2. When these products show up, the international shipping option will be made available but not the local shipping option. I'm running Prestashop 1.5.3.1 Thank you
  7. Hi there Before I upgraded to 1.5.3 I was able to track how my referring websites were working. For example, if a customer came from Google, then it will appear against the customer's order that she came from google and the stats will reflect this too. However, I can't seem to find that info now. I still use the same referrers and have input their details such as %facebook% and etc. But the data is just not correct. Is there a way to get around this so that I can get accurate data? Thank you
  8. Hi there Are new products considered "new" from the date of creation or when they are first activated? We have a lot of new products come in. However, we need prepare the products in advance but only activate them when they arrive. This also usually means that what's new is often not at the top of the block. Is there a way to get around that? We need to prep the stock before hand but I would like recently activated products to show first on the top of the block. Thanks heaps.
  9. Anyone know of any good popovers??? Thanks
  10. Hi there Does anyone know of a module that allows you to install an email popup on the homepage of the webstore? Also, I need the module to be able to provide a coupon code upon customer signing up to the newsletter. The new subscribers should also be synced to mailchimp. Please let me know if there's one out there. I've found a few that do pop ups but they don't generate coupon codes that get emailed automatically to customers. Thank you
  11. Hi there I have some issues with my website that I just noticed. For example, when the products are being searched for or just shown in the category view, I get an out of stock indication on some of them. This happens when a product is out of stock because one of it's attributes is out of stock. However, when you click on the product, the product is in stock but with different attributes. How do I remove that "out of stock" sign? (see screenshot 1). I've also attached a screenshot of the product showing that it's in stock when you land on the product page. The website is www.summerlane.com.au and search for chirpy bird. Click on the gumboots and you will see that happening. Thank you.
  12. I have the same issue but I'm using 1.5.3.1 and it's not working. Can anyone shed some light on this please? Thank you
  13. Hi everyone I'm using Presta 1.5.3.1. Is there a way to do the following: 1. Create free shipping only on select items? 2. Create a voucher specific to only select products from a manufacturer and only have the voucher code applied to those products and not the rest of the cart? For example, if Apple products are entitled to 30% off and the customer purchases an Apple and also another product from a different brand, I want the discount to only apply to the Apple product. What I'm finding right now is that the cart seems to not work with the "selected products" option. Thank you Jessie
