Go to: Back office » Preferences Where is says "Enable Shop" choose "no" and save. Your shop is now in maintenance mode. You can edit the page that appears by going into your template folder and modifying 'maintenance.tpl'. ;-)

Hi, I was wondering if there would be a skeleton theme included with Prestashop in version 1.1, kind of like the Magento Blank theme. I've always wanted to create my own theme from scratch, but there are just so many entries in the stylesheet, and it's hard to tell if I'm missing something. It would be great if you guys could include a skeleton theme, with only the most basic styles included. Also, a suggestion: Instead of one huge stylesheet, use multiple stylesheets. for example: blocks.css, tpl.css and layout.css and then link them all together in the global.css using the @import command. I'll be looking forward to the next release! :coolsmile:

The lite version only changes some of the default theme elements. Headers, product listings and forms still carry the same default look. The Pro version completely changes everything, and removes all the old default theme elements. And now, it comes with different colors too. CSS Hack - You should probably use d0m1n1k's code 1. Open your global.css file 2. Search for '/* Special style for block accessories in center column (product page) */' (No quotes ) Above the highlighted text, You will see this code: #center_column .products_block a.button, #center_column .products_block a.exclusive, #center_column .products_block span.exclusive { margin: 0.5em auto; } Replace it with: #center_column .products_block a.button { margin: 0.5em auto; } #center_column .products_block a.exclusive, #center_column .products_block span.exclusive { display: none; } That should do it.

Go to: Back office » Modules » Positions, scroll down to the 'Top of pages' block, and make sure that the 'Quick Search Block' is positioned below the 'Permanent Links' block. If it is, then open the css file, and do a search for '/* block top search */' (Without the quotes ) change: /* block top search */ #header #search_block_top { background: #e5e6e7 url('../img/block_search_bg.jpg') no-repeat top right; height: 28px; width: 330px; float: left; } to: /* block top search */ #header #search_block_top { background: #e5e6e7 url('../img/block_search_bg.jpg') no-repeat top right; height: 28px; width: 330px; float: right; } and see if that helps.

I have updated this theme. It corrects some errors with fonts and headers. If you downloaded this theme already, just re-download it from the site, and upload it over your existing version. If anyone finds any errors, feel free to post them here so I can fix them
