Go to your FTP or localhost where is your site, open modules/blockcms/ and there find blockcms.tpl
Open blockcms.tpl and find around line 59 or this :
{l s='Powered by' mod='blockcms'} PrestaShop™

Change link with what u need or u wish.

In version 1.4 It's in "Back Office->Preferences->SEO & URLs" - click on index.php and there you can put your Page title, change meta description and meta keywords for your shop. (don't forget to tip it in all languages what you have)

Hope it helps.

Go to Preferences > SEO & URLs, then edit the page to change it's meta information. Unfortunately, there's a bug that prevents you changing "index.php". Until it is fixed, you will need to manually edit the ps_meta_lang table in your database using phpMyAdmin.

You're looking in the wrong place. You must go to the Catalog tab and click the "Edit" button in the "Actions" column next to the category you want to edit. You can edit the category's meta-description from there.

Unfortunately, it's impossible to edit the "Home" category in the Back Office. The only way to edit it is to use phpMyAdmin. Go to the ps_category_lang table, search for all the rows with an id_category of 1 and change the metadescription for each row. Use English for id_lang 1, French for id_lang 2, etc.

I do have the meta tags in phpMyAdmin meta_lang table. However, there is still just the shop name in the FO, like index.php, new-products, ptices-drop etc. Categories and products meta tags are all in place.

Where shall I look now?

EDIT: it was tomer's modification of tools.php to prevent meta tags duplication - it's apparently not compatible with 1.4.

That should have worked. I have no idea why it wouldn't. Here's a screenshot of the rows you should change.

If you are trying to change the "Home" in the breadcrumbs, then this won't work. You need to go to Tools > Translations > Front Office translations to change them.

Hi guys!

sorry for my question, but I still can't understand where I can change the meta "generator" (default is PrestaShop)..

I cannot see in the SEO page.

Do I have to change something manually on source files?

In that case, which is/are the file/files?

Thks
