After the succes of BlocMyAccount custom ( http://www.prestasho...iewthread/7253/ ) here my last contribution
I Amended HomePageFeatured Module V0.8 Present in the 097, 1.0, 1.1Beta3.
I incremented the version of this module is therefore to V0.9.
So the purpose of amending this module:
Module "official" sorting the featured products from newest to oldest.
What makes the function of position in the catalog completely inactive.
Result, going into the configuration of this module you can choose sorting following:
No sorting - sorting through the Back Office => Catalog -> Position
Random Display
Less to more expensive
Most to least expensive
Last amended in the first
Last added in the first
Alphabetical

For : Prestashop version : 097, 1.0, 1.1Beta3

To install, uninstall the original module, and install the mine.

The problem discribed there could be easely solved whit a module I think :)

For now no-one has this problem I describe there but in time it will become an issue....

can you show or delete picture, picture in home page(in the middle), like in the product picture.

I would like to reduce the size of the outside box of the homefeatured module for our store, which is too big. I know that the lign to be changed is

I assume I could rename the module and install as a new one say "homefeatured-sort v0.91.zip " for example, so that when I have a future update I do not update the default module that ships with Prestshop and I know which sites have the homefeatured-sort insatlled rather than the default.

If so, I guess I only need to do the std install;

1. Unzip (decompress) the module archive file and, using your FTP software, place the folder in your PrestaShop /modules folder.
2. Go to Back Office >> Modules.
3. Locate the new module in the list, scrolling down if necessary.
4. In the row for the new module, click Install.
5. Locate the module again. If necessary, click >> Configure.

Would you be kind enough to confirm if this is correct

thanks for the good job. I would want however to hand some questions. I use Prestashop 1.0 stable.
I have correctly installed the change homefeatured, I have gone to BO--> forms--> homefeatured--> conf (img 1)
I have not selected, for example, add to de cart and I have saved.
Later I have gone to FO however there is something that no it goes. Indeed the button (add to the cart) disappears, however the form stays some same height. (img2)

Why doesn't the structure climb all and remains this grey part?
What must I do so that when I don't select a button the whole block climbs height without that grey part stays?

Even if me active Price display, View button and Add cart button the result is not as that native. A piece of layout always stays from out of grey color. Why? (Img 3) What must I do for resolving the problem?

The result that I would want to get is in (img 4). What should I do for ottere this effect?

I have not test this module with V1.1 of PrestaShop.

I tested it in 1.1 - the ORDER BY works (Asc or Desc or Alpha)

the 3 options "Display Price" + "Display Add Cart" + "Display View" do not work ( seemed to be ignored).
I did not see any side affect for the moment in 1.1
