J'ai trouvé un petit tutorial (en anglais) qui explique comment mettre en place, 10 min chrono montre en main, un certificat SSL avec Wamp :

Si vous suivez correctement le tuto étape par étape, cela devrait marcher du premier coup.
Faites juste attention aux chemins (qui ne sont plus bon avec la nouvelle version de Wamp), mais le principe de base marche très bien.
Cela vous permettra de tester le SSL en local :)
Attention, cela ne remplacera jamais un vrai certificat SSL sécurisé par VeriSign (et qui coûte bonbon !).
Il est donc possible que Firefox vous renvoie une erreur de sécurité la première fois, auquel cas vous devez ajouter votre site dans les URL autorisées (cliquer sur le lien proposé par Firefox).

merci pour cette information cela m'a l'air assez bien.
Par contre pour le mode online ça doit être un peu différent. ( il faut dire que certains hébergeurs proposent directement à l'achat ssl oui ou non )
