switching beetween combinations in front page ...

hello every one ...

how can we set prestashop to make it switch automatically to another combination when the user changed one of attributes ??

for example user comes and selects another CPU (another combination) in normal way other attributes dont change ! they stay same as they were ! but down below the system says if the product with this combination is available or not !

now i want to make presta shop swith to that CPUs Combination ...

any module or some paid modifications ?! :-?

if your using version 1.4 of prestashop try this I too need to do this for some of my products and have been playing around with the attributes and groups features generator. I am by no means an expert and am learning as i go. However I have been able to add a drop down for customers to select different options of that product. How i did it was....

add your new attributes group and attributes
then
during product set up go to conbinations
click "generate new combo then click ok
add your new attributes from right hand column
add price adjustment and quantity then...

click generate, lastly back to product
What this does is create a option drop down box on the user end for them to select different versions with different price if need be. Hope this helps as i also struggled for a while trying to add options for customers
