I really want some help with these topic.
How do I remove the ID string from the databse in the friendly URLs?
look in this link:
http://dinparfume.dk...herrera-parfume
i want to remove the 149 so the link will be:
http://dinparfume.dk...herrera-parfume
´
I have tried all the things in erlier post in this forum.

I am not sure it makes that much of a huge difference to be fair. As i'm sure if it did prestashop wouldn't let it appear in the seo links.
All though I could be wrong be interesting to see what people say about this.

The ID from the friendly URL is meant to keep the URL's unique.
If the ID wouldn't exist inside the URL, there would be the possibility that 2 products with the same name to exist in your shop. This will not be a good thing for your site, because there's a constant "fight" against duplicate URL's from within a site.
You can search on google to read more info about the duplicate URL's.

You make an interesting point it would only be good if you had no very many products which you knew were not the same name.
